Thread: how much would you have charged?
if i am correct with the new system the only person that can learn the innate ability is the person who tamed the pet. This was done to prevent people from tradeing and price gougeing.

My understanding was that if the creature gains XP then this is true, but if the creature is tamed and never used, then it is possible for the new owner to gain the ability.
Hmmm, I may have got it wrong though some maybe some clarification on this would be good and btw I think 800k was a very fair price!!

800k or higher would have been my price. But price vs benefit is in the eye of the beholder. If the other CH didn't know how rare the pet is or difficult to get then 800k would seem high.
elrac is correct. i gave a kreetle with thick skin to a newbie CH friend, i'd never used it, and she did in fact learn the ability from that pet, which she didn't tame. it's just that you can't have used the pet to get any training exp before you trade it, even 1 point.

If it was a skill that I needed (particularly a level 3 skill that is VERY effective like aggression) I would have asked at least a couple million.
Finding another pet to replace that one could take many hours if not many days. I would want something to compensate for my time.
