After the great nerfing known as the cu I dropped ch for bh, But I miss being a ch and im thinking of taking it up again and im wondering what do the majority of ch's think about the grind. Is it harder or easier than before the Cu?.

CH is fun again to me!

And you can grind with your pets, learning from them and using them to help you!

- I support a rollback and keeping & balancing the old combat system.

Whats better to do.

Start with a lvl 1 persona and grind weapons and ch at the same time or should I master a ranged first then start ch?

Also.

I remember that in the old system as long as your pet got a hit in on the target you could kill it off and still get all the ch xp, Is it still like that or do you need to have your pet kill the target on its own.

With the way it works now, if your pet does the damage you get CH experience, if you do the damage you get weapon experience, if you both do dmg its split. So honestly, its probably fastest to join a group and learn your weapon skill first to gain as much CL as possible, then group up and use just your pets - or use pets and weapons both, but just pets on the lairs at the end so the bonus experience is CH experience. Weapon skills come pretty fast, but CH is going to take a long time to develop I think.

Thanks for the responce.

I have a m rifleman / m cm I may use for this. Maybe drop rifleman and keep the m cm for the cl lvl and the healing ability

Or consider switching to MBH from MRifles and going MBH/MCH/CM4000 so you keep the heals, and get some decent specials from the BH tree and can still raise up CH.
