The generic skin-pet/creature is stupid and un-unique.
I can't beleive a level 50 rancor is the same as a level 50 lizard. LAME! Uncreative and lazy SOE!
Not being able to see all stats is making enhancing your companions a headache task.
I tamed a Dragonet with thick skin 1 and one with Defensive Agility 1. Both where identical when looking at the main examine screen.
What are the armor levels? What defence do these have if stated? Why is there a lack of information?
What level of armor does a level 24 wild tame have if its all a generic clone skin? What does level 1-3 of Thick Skin add?
What a pain...

the lack of information is a real pain. u can only test a lot to figure the actual values out.
today i tamed a CL70 shear mite soldier with thick skin level 3. from my previous pets i know, that a CL70 usualy has danage reduction of 40% (thats around 4800 armour rating). my thick skin 3 shear mite has damage reduction of 56% (thats an armour rating of 8000!).
i m not sure if thick skin is an addition to the armour rating or directly to the damage reduction. anyway its a real improvement (8000 armour is not bad at all).
i tamed a female mamian earlier with level 2 vicious health - she had 6.9K health, whereas the other female mamiens of that lair only had 5.8K - nice improvement too.

Yeah, its bad for CH, but its a sin that rangers can't see anything... that's their job pretty much.
