I was hoping someone with good macro skills could post one for AFK pet grinding those lvl 1 mobs? i'm a full time dad with very little time each day to sit and play so this would be the best way for me to learn those nice new specials...

thx for your help!!

/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/tellpet attack;
/pause 6;
/macro pet;

This is what I use.

Anakin: Master, I think my lightsaber is getting dull. Its not doing nearly as much damage as it used to.
Obi-Wan: O.k. when we're done showing the youglings around the temple, we'll stop by the bazaar and you can buy a new crystal. I hope you've got a couple million credits saved up for this.
Anakin: WHAT?!!?? I don't have THAT kind of cash!
Obi-Wan: Well you could try sharpening it on these younglings. I've got a headache and all their questions are driving me NUTS!
Anakin: hmmm.... Sharpen my lightsaber on younglings...... hmmmmmm.....
Obi-Wan: uh, that was a joke Anakin. I'll spot you the cash for a new crystal THIS time, but next time you're on your own.

For low level pets you might need heal them a bit, but if you are trying to stay with attacking level 1-2's you could probably get away with just increasing the /pause between attacks so they have more time to regen.

Hello All,

I too have a Macro question. I tried Gimpynoob's Macro. Got it to somewhat work after removing the ;'s from the end and removing /macro pet. Now it will work, and my pet will attack but it is not auto. it has to be reclicked every time, tried Ctrl + L click and that didnt work. Any help on a click and leave auto Macro?

Any help is appreciated

i'm not sure but I think the /macro pet line was the command to repeat the macro....
you just name the macro "pet" for it to work.....am I right anyone?

Oops, sorry I didn't make that clear.

I don't think you'll be able to do this very easily with real low level creatures. They'll take a real beating and get incapped soon.

Try to use 10+ if possible. If a pet has a ranged attack, its a lot easier and you don't have to worry much. (Cupa is a CL10 with a ranged attack for example)

Here's a list of creatures that can be used at novice CH and that have a ranged attack.

Thanks Gimpynoob for the help and link But, I was actually trying to run this with a lvl 63 Brackaset. Was testing a Special ability theory. Just can't get it to repeat itself. I think the post earlier about re-adding /macro pet and naming pet may take care of it.

Macro is called auto.

/ui action targetSelf;
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/tellpet attack;
/pause 2;
/m auto;

The target self line keeps the pet with your own radius using yourself as a base marked for the cycle target.

Pause 2 is a 2 sec pause, this can be increased depending on the regen rate of spawns, and the ability of your pets. If the pet is lower level increase pause to allow time to kill, if pets are higher level then you can run shorter pauses, but you will eventually run out of beasts before they spawn.
