Hey, howdy to the Creature Handlers. Didn't know if I should put this in trade forum or here, figured this was better, so don't flame if you disagree, just report it to a mod and have it closed it ticks you off that much.
Anyways,, I'll get right into it. I have avoided getting a mount mainly because if I get one and it isn't trained, well, I can never find any creature handlers, and if I did I doubt they would have time to tame my little Bantha. However, I let my brother use one of my character slots and he decided to get a cu pa. Thing isn't trained, he asked me what to do and I really don't have a clue. Can anyone explain this deal with the mounts? As far as I understand, it should come already trained, but if it doesn't it needs to be taken to a CH, correct? And how do I know that some "uber l33t dood" isn't gonna just take his pet and run off with it instead fo training it and trading it back. Anyways,I believe the character is on Bloodfin, Autieke is his name. Don't send me a PM, just reply here please, because he doesn't read my messages, or give him an in game tell I guess. And once again, please no flames, I have stuck with speeders just for the purpose of avoiding this kind of thing.

If the char is on BloodfinI can train his mount for him. Have him give Ledies a tell.

Alright, thanks, I'll tell him. He showed me the reature though and it doesn't look near grown up- how does it grow up? Does it matter if it's in the datapad or not? Will it still grow?

Yeah, it'll still grow in your datapad. Some have said that pulling him out every RL day will make him grow faster, others have said use him in combat once a RL. I don't know, in my experiences they grow the same whether or not they get used. You might try pulling him out every day just to be sure, shouldn't take more then a week for him to grow up though.

To make it grow you need to log at least every other day. All you need to do is log in every day to make them grow the fastest, you dont even have to stay logged in for any certain amount of time. if you dont log in for about 3-4 days, your pets stop growing.

Well no pet (either BE'd or wild) will come trained, you need to seek out a CH for that. In order to mount him he must be mostly grown up and the CH needs to have Managment IV(Pack Master), so a novice CH won't be able to mount it for you. As for as the guarantee that the CH doing to training won't run off with your pet... well you don't have a guarantee. But it would be highly unlikely that they would IMO. You see, CHs can just go out into the wild and get their own and are more likely to already have some of their own that are far better then the one your looking to get trained. Although if the person seems suspicious don't give em the pet, that's really your only course of action unfortunately.
