My god, now don't take this wrong, but WHAT is with all these MCH asking for answers to the SIMPLEST questions? i have been patiently working on MCH (1 1/2 boxes to go) slowly plugging away since september 1st, learning as i go, but here MCH's are asking questions to things i found the answer too when i could BARELY tame level 15 pets.......

i guess its the price i pay for not getting ch in a macro.....don't get me wrong i am GLAD to see the new blood in our profession, it's GREAT...and could do nothing but help in the long run....but shouldn't u learn about it before mastering the profession? just my 2 cents.....

Unfortunately, there are a lot of players in this game who think that XP actually means experience.

XP is an abstraction. Real experience does not come from hanging out at the squill or geo caves. It definitely does not come from using a macro. It comes from hunting with your pets, using them to get aggro on mobs and use that to your tactical advantage. It comes from soloing sharnaff lairs and inteliigently taking on the mobs knowing which ones BAF and which ones do not. It comes from tapping lairs, not firing at them at random even though the next wave is coming at you.

Experience is:

Mastering CH with one BE Dewback and knowing how to get your timing just right to keep it alive and healing it at the right times.

Taking your uber pets and pitting the up against the tuffest NPC's in the game to get to know their true potential.

Even when your not master, still travling to other planets for practice on how to tame babies and see what other pets are out there.

Simple things such as these. Not, like mentioned above, AFking in one place mastering the proff. then swarming the forums with ques.

Maybe when they get rid of recursive macros XP will really mean experience again? But truly, it is very sad that an MCH woulodn't know how to tame a baby and yet be a master.

Its one thing I take pride in with BEAST as those as I recruit as students truly the learn the profession. It is great to see them tame their first rancor or first rare pet while providing my experience to answer any questions they may have.

It is my goal to turn every student who comes into BEAST into a Beastmaster

It is not how fast you get to the end of the road it is how much fun you have along the way. Look at all the things you have seen and done to get to where your at. I picked upCH roughly the same time as you did and and still need the last 2 boxes in empathy. But I know for certain I will have had more fun then if I had took the easy way and killed meatlumps till master.

Yup Agree with all above

the game has changed to a grind game, although im sure there are still some things im not aware of in this profession I usually take the time out to learn on my own if needed lol

its the only way I can remember it lol

give a man a fish thing :-)

its also why the forums are filled with template questions everyday lol

personally i'm the type to try what I think is best, fun, cool ... before asking such questions lol

just need to add this

why does everyone answer some of these questions.

if left unanswered maybe they would do a search and discover it on they're own or better yet discover it ingame lol

myself included, we are all guilty of perpetuating it in the guise of help and really create apathy lol at times that is hehe

that's exactly it..they rush to grind points , without learning anything..i had a mch ask me"how do you get a baby out of a lair?"..one would think by the time you reach master, you would have figured that out..if all you do is run macros or grind the caves, you won't learn squat..same can be said for be's..some grind macros, and have no idea how to read a sample, nevermind assemble a template...most who do the profession in a timely manner are great to talk to though..
