ID10T error coming in on me with understanding the whole Taming Vicious and wild numbers and the CLvl.

Im currently 1/2/1/1 and Would Love to know Whats it all mean and with full creature Knowledge from ranger what should i use to determine if i can use said tamed beast. I plan on going all the way. But for the life f me i cant figure it out.

You can HANDLE creatures to level 22, The taming numbers affect the chances of taming & training said creature. I assume that the CL is taken from the Taming Wild Creatures number as low level pets are easily tamed requiring no reteaching.

Vicious I think affects the creatures ferocity. Some creatures arent as agrressive as others, an aggressive beasty wont let you tame it. Taming Vicious lets you .

So :-
Creature level - How big yor pet is.

Taming Wild Creatures - Your skill at taming/teaching critters.

Taming Vicious - Your skill at taming/teaching aggros.

The Tamining Vicious skills allow you to tame pets who's parents show red on the radar. They are known as Aggressive and attack when you come into range. You need Taming II to be able to tame them or you need BE clothes with +25 to taming Vicious. Taming skills increase your chance of a successful tame. They do not affect the CL you can tame. Basically, with high Taming skills you can tame on the first or second try instead of taking 5 or 6 tries.

As a Novice CH you can tame a CL 12 non-aggressive creature. This CL increases by 2 for each skill box you acquire in the first two rows of the skill tree. It increases by 3 for each box in the third row and by 5 for each box in the fourth row. At Master you can tame a CL 70 pet.

Hawat you dont NEED CH clothing, you can tame just fine without it but your chances of doing so are lower.
