Ah Endor! Nothing like a little walk on endor to get the hart pumping, It does seem like it has become a little more hazzardous over teh past few weeks

Awhile back i waswp hopping around looking for a few pets on my want list , I reached the last waypoint and needed to stop and pull up my map to pick another spot to try, The wp is was at was about 2-3k NE of the smuggler outpost and While i was looking at the map I heard the attack music start I closed the map just in time to see the gorax foot coming down on top of me. What are the odds on a random wp placement to be about 50m away from the gorax.

I don't know if it's just an impression, but I've found really difficult from a week till now to roam through Endoron the infinity server in search of pets to tame.

Must say that I don't go buffed when I'm on the lookout for pets, tapping lairs and things like that (and I've caught many Arachne Webmasters, Warriors, Toxic Merek Battlelords and Delirious Merek Avengers, not to mention a Mantigrue Screecher)... but from a week till now I've been slained 4 times by a Blurrg Raptor (are they new?Or has there been a proliferation of these critters?found 4-5 of them in my roamings) and incapped directly from my swoopbike 2 times.

I remember being slained 1-2 times in all my carrier while searching for pets (on Dath, trying to get a gaping spider recluse).. but this is really something else!

Endor hasbecome a living hell.. one thing that really fed me up is the impossibility of having an up-to-date radar ... I'm going all happy and gay, when suddendly I find myself in the middle of 12 mantigrue reapers, ready to chop my head off and bringing it back to their lair as a trophy.

Or getting in the middle of some grassland raiders.. I'm only a master CH and have some good things in BH, but I'm really weak and I'm not much in a buff frenzy.

What do u say?Is Endor the new Dathomir?I remember when Dath was really daaaaaaark.. and I was new to CH and getting along hunting parties ehehe.. and found myself with an enraged rancor breathing on my neck LOL.. that was really scary and sending my heartbeat to a million!! ehehe

But this is getting ridicoulous! Is it like this for u too?And how's on the other servers?

P.S. seen the Gorax.. luckily with a friend of mine who was a real tank... and he advised me to buff.. Gorax is really quick, reached me on my swoop too!!!He like stomps on u and snap his fingers as an attack LOL

Heheh... kids.

In my day, way back when trips to Endor was new and buffs were unheard of, you couldn't walk outside either outpost more than 500m before you were in a sea of red. Mask scent and burst run were your friends and mask scent was useless against the Korgas and Donkuwah. Those were the days. Just trying to survive outside of the outpost was thrilling. God forbid if you had to do a corpse run though.... You had to navigate through a maze of red and one step too far caused mask scent to fail.... you imediately stopped in your tracks, heart pounding, while you attempted to get mask scent back up and working.... I loved it.

I honestly really like the way Endor and Dathomir spawn. Wish all planets were like this.

No buffs while taming? WTG.. thats the only fun way to do it!

this was back when every aborted mission left the mission lair/camp in the world.

there was a circle of death surrounding EVERY OP, from yavin to endor and beyond.

ANY mission you took put you in the middle of trouble, since SOMEONE SOMEWHERE abandoned a mission there... repeat across a dozen or a hundred failed missions, and you had an unbroken wall of bad news.

if you were lucky enough to find a hole (ie: a group completing a mission, and the missions adjacent), you were safe for a while... but the trip home was another run through the same gauntlet, and better off riding the clone train.

I still miss those jinda missions... nothing like a bad ewok to wake the warrior in you.

I think endor's spawn rate has increased of late due to increased player traffic, due to 3 events that all occured in the past month:

- Wookiee Life Day Camp south of the Smuggler Outpost

- Gorax return (and people hunting it)

- Village Phase 2 reflex quest sends people to Endor searching for crashed ships.

I used to grind my jedi on endor (used to havethe planet largelyto myself and 1 or 2 others)but recently, with all the traffic, it's been very difficult to hunt there in peace. Although, it is funny. As a long time CH, it's a benefit to baby hunting. As a jedi, it's the last place you want to be with all the traffic. So needless to say, I'm conflicted.
