It was the first rare pet i wanted when i became mch .... now several months later.....i finally found my gaping spider queen 
I arrived on Dathomir, and started tracking ..... already after the fourth tracking attempt, a baby queenpopped up on my terminal ......
1st attempt .... fail ......2nd attempt fail and aggro .. i ran like hell to shake it .... 3rd attemp, it ran away .... 4th attempt .... failed ..... meanwhile, my heart was leaving my body, i had a puddle of sweat in my chair .... and then finally .... the 5th attempt brought me my baby

Got a malignant 2 or 3 weeks ago ...... was very lucky, was the first time i ever went looking for it, and found it within 5 minutes
...... never searched for a bull yet ..... gonne start on that now ...... now the luck is on my side

Huge grats on the queen
I do have one question though. Are these generally alone? The one time I braved going up to Dathomir with my dancer/creature handler, I followed the waypoints in SWGCreatures and at the final wp, I found a Queen. I ripped out Tanque (my beautiful gurrcat) and went at it. But another queen never spawned in the area
I've already decided that I'll more than likely never see a rare from Dathomir with my CH, but, sometimes I do get hopeful, and brave.

never seen one spawn alone
..it may have been left over freom someone who killed an "insect hill" hunting meat, or hunting a baby and got disgusted and left when the last adult spawned..i've tamed 3 of them and always see them either with just gapings, or gapings and gaping broodlings with an "insect hill" lair..the hunters and recluses spawn without lairs all the time

No, he was next to a wildlair (Insect Hill).... but was the only spider out ...... i was so excited about the catch, that after 4Km i realised i should have tappedthe lair formore babies ...... but i couldn't find it back :/

congrats, was really pleased whe i tamed oen of these as well, too a quick look at its stats and touhgt, what no armour?, thne took a bete look and noticed the reists and quickly realised its better protected thna a lot of armoured pets at that cl and with so few vulns its a very nice all rounds (not to mention strong poison is the equivilant of +15 to the cl givne how well it works in a fight)
