Creature Handler Archive

So here i am outside of Theed taming spineflaps, chubas and other viscious creatures (). Then i proceed to tame another Chuba, i press follow , my grind xp macro(by mistake) and /tame all too fast that i get a too many queued commands message and suddenly i am in first person view without being able to see my character and i cannot open my inventory or anything else for that matter. I also get the you cant tame that message over the little chubas head. I think err ok sounds like relog time so i relog, the view problem is fixed but i cant tame anything. Now since this is kinda important to me aiming for master CH and all would any of you people have any ideas why did it happen or how can i fix it? Thanks in advance

You might have picked up a datapad bug - best thing to do a=in any situation where things screw up for odd reasons is to log out and stay out for at least 10 mins, to let your character leave the game world completely.

If that doesn't work please let us know the exact message you are getting when trying to tame, that might help someone recognise the issue.

Well the exact message i'm getting is just that: You can't tame that. On a lvl 0 mob with 30 HAM .

This is getting very frustrating unless i am missing something here being a newbie and all. .

So far i only got this message while being a novice trying to tame aggressive mobs...

I was having a similar issue the last few nights. I would try to tame creatures I know I've tamed in the past and I kept getting "you can't tame that" messages. So last night when it happened, I opened my datapad to verify I had space, and tried again. After the 3rd iteration of that, the "you can't tame that" stuff went away.

ahh the reasone you couldn't see yourself was because you were what they call "ghosting" this happens alot on live servers now a days.so right before you start ghosting you will notice that you can't store your pets they will not lisean to your comands and usually when your trying to store/ tame something you will go into ghosting mod.

and the only way to fix this is to log out and log back in. and then you will have to rreset your skill bars because it will get set to novice polition and then you will have to re put your weapons in your tool bar on the top of your screan.

this bug occurs because of mounts and the server lagg in the system you can't pervent it and this happens to me alot. so if you try to /tame something that you know you can tame but you get the message you can not tame that log out emediatly.

It must be the 2nd, because im almost a master creature handler taming a rill for a friend. LOL. And i have the clothes for rancor and such. Thanks.

I've got that message a few times while taming wrix's to get marring storm L1 -Yes finally after 2 days of trying I finally get it /backflips
