ive recently started swg, and more recently started as a ch (im ch 0,1,1,1/scout4,0,4,2/brawler4,0,0,0) given ive got no real hope of selling pets to anyone (although judging by the reactions mines bene getting in cantinas if i coudl stop growth for anything monkeylike at cl one i coudl sell those easily) ive decided ill try to sell my (currantly limited) training skills and was wondering what the rest of you though aobut this pricing (as well as pricing for commands ive forgotten)
mount 1k (everyone wants it but its easy to train so i though this fair, give s areasonable profit but not so high people woudl lose interest)
special attack 1 1k (im sure someone can bio a cl10 with a nice special)
special attack 2 1k (see above)
attack 200 (most of the creatures worth training with this will be in the hands of a ch who can do it anyway so low privce to encourage people to train jsut so they got the command)
follow 400 (will usualyl do so anyway so not very useful but still worth having on occasion)
stay 200 (low usage)
store 200 (can do fomr radial even when not trained)
group 500 (handy command but not on a par with specials/mount)
trick1 500 (mind healing useful but not essential for a non ch)
trick2 500 (as above)
other commands ?
in addition id have a min fee of 1500 for an training i do (well min 1katm but 1.5k once ive got more commands)
if i have to travel it costs expences +500 per shuttle needed +1500 for any non shuttle town changes at the far end)
i think the above pricing is reasonably fair is its charging for time alone and not for insanly inflated resources, it encourages peopel tog et more thna just 1-2 commands trained (min fee so may as well spend it) and encourages people to come to you for training of thier pets (costs less, and savesyou time)
if someone asked me whiel out hunting the fees would obviously be non callout even thouh in away from my home (im there anyway so they dont pay my travel)
special case 1 i need less than 1k xp for next skill in which case ill train for free unless im mid hunt and likely to get it anyway
special case 2 perosn asking is a friend and im feeling generous ill train at reduced cost/free provided they dont advertise i did so (if they do then i tell everyone i did charge but im still waiting on payment, and im really not happy about the situation)
