heh. i use the Master Creature Handler tag. i dont fly the rifle one it just isnt right.

i like the CH one beacause it is gender neutral if my character was male i wouldnt mind the rifleman tag since it would fit. pikeman, marksman, rifleman, and swordsman are the only gender specific title names now. rifle used to be master sharpshooter which wasnt too bad but it was goofy sounding.

even beyound the gender issue it is species-centric as well since a bothan is not a man whether the bothan is male or female.

Created Account July 2003 - Canceled account Nov 2005. The NGE made me do it.

talon,

As you may remember I used to be. I have not seen Jayne in a long time but she was as well. Once the holo is done I will probably be MPistoleer and MCH. Fanshot rules. Of course that is combat rebalance in nature lol so we will have to see after it is all said and done.

Sign for Hutt Faction here: Hutt Faction

Not against broad changes, just profession specific ones (read as CH) that go against what we've been told in the past.

Not to quibble (okay, so I am quibbling), but "Master Creature Handler" is technically gender-specific. "Master" is a masculine title. "Mistress" would be the feminine equivalent. You find it everywhere, though. I can't think of a single profession whose ultimate title isn't masculine in nature. That's what you get when the design team is composed of nothing but males.

Technically speaking, the use of Master in this case (ie Master Creature Handler) is in relation to the skill (a ranking within the Creature Handler skillset), and not the person who holds the skill. In that case, it will always be masculine as one would not say 'Mistress' Creature Handler. On the other hand, Rifleman is used to describe the person, not the ranking in the skill. In that case, you would be a Riflewoman or Rifleperson.

I don't know what the heck my secondary proffesion is, I change it every other day, I'm just never happy. I've been a master pistoleer, rifleman, master swordsman, shock trooper, now I am trying carbineer. I wasn't a rifleman for very long, didn't like it much. I can say that I have stuck with creature handler as long as I can remember though. I love this proffesion. Here's hoping master carbineer works out for me.

CH was the first elite profession I quailifed for. Finally decided to go for Master at the beginning of this year..

Shortly thereafter, Iwas hologrinding combat professions. Until I mastered Rifleman..

Now I don't want to give either one up.
