Hi, I have just become a CH and I've been reading around about the different pet levels and how you have to be up on Taming and Training to get a pet tamed/trained regardless of how many CL's you are allowed. My question is does this also pertain to BE bought pets and pets given to you buy another CH. Right now I am 1-1-1-3 so my CL is +25, so I am only limited to what I can tame/train by the 1-1 in those, but if I bought a pet that was trained and BE'ed that was level 24 could I use it? or if another Handler trained the pet and gave it to me could I use it? I know this is probably a newb question so bare with me please. Thank you

I couldn't honestly tell you on BE bought pets, because they were busted (bad way busted, not this uberness they are now) right through me getting my Mastery, so I knew I could just tame anything. My new CH character on Shadowfire won't use BE'd pets so I haven't tried with him. As for people giving you pets, a CH with the transfer command can transfer you literally any pet, but you can only pull it from the datapad if you have the appropriate skills. You mentioned level 24 . . . you can use any non-aggressive model CL 24 given to you by a CH, or tame any non-aggressive CL 24 model bought from a BE. I don't know if you could tame a BE'd pet that was say, a CL 40, and then use it until it grew up . . . theory would say you shouldn't be able to since you can't tame them in the wild, but I'm not putting anything past the Devs these days. But you COULD have a Master CH transfer you a CL 50 rancor for holding, and it would go right into your datapad, you just couldn't use it right now.
