Hi, new MCH here
I've been talking to one of Valcyn's best BEs about buying one or more really good BE pets. He asked me what I was looking for (HAM, stats, etc.) Intimidate, light armor, and 60% kinetic are must haves IMO, but I honestly don't know what else he should be able to make.
What does your favorite BE petlook like (PvE only)? For example, is 14k HAM, light armor, 60% kinetic/energy, 35%+ resists to all others (except lightsaber of course), intimidate, and blinding/stunning strike possible? Also, should I shoot for 1 big pet or 2-3 smaller ones? And how much should I pay?
Thanks for the help!

Strong Poison and Strong Disease are great to have when going PvE. For PvP it doesnt really matter that much since the fights are over before those attacks are effective.
Not sure on prices since it is different from server to server. But the HAM is pretty good around 11k-12k from what I see alot on Chlastra. I usually go one big pet...but I am experimenting with two CL 35's now...not sure how high my BE can get those.

I'd have to disagree on the Strong Disease, I'm afraid it is one of the more useless specials in PvE - unless you want to track your prey for a couple of days until it drops (it causes wounds, not damage......).
Strong Poison is always good (DOT attack) - Intimidate is worth having if the beast is tanking for you (less damage from mobs).
TBH what pet is good for you is dependant on how you fight or what you want to use it for and what you are happiest weilding.
The combat-incapable Gully prefers a CL 45/25 combo - using the 45 as the tank with the 25 acting as personal defence/shield.
Gally weilds cannon and pistols so doesn't need a guard - opting for 2 mid level attack pets for moderate beasties or1 high-level damage absorber when fighting big stuff,
Look at how you fight and pick pets which best compliment your fighting style and the situation.

It's possible to get very good intimidate/blind pet at level 70, the blast resist will probably be vulnerable as the Be is limited in its DNA options if you want all this in one pet. I myself have a lev 70 guf drolg with ~13k HAM (all) and 52% kinetic 51% energy, some 80% ers in heat and so on and 24% acid and stun AR1 ofcourse. He tanks very well and his intimidate spam is nice, also find it easier just to have to heal one pet when doing difficult mobs. Poison/Disease is quite useless in PVE as the HAMs of big mobs are incredible. I also have a set of 2 lev 35 pets with AR1 60% kinetic 40% energy and 24% acid (and some othergood resists) with nice specials (cant remember them well). It is possible, the only thing is that you have to find a good BE on your server, one that actually knows what he is doing and also know what resist combos are good to have. On my server that is Calvinius we also had another very good one.. but he left unfortunately.

check the BioE forums.
with two recipes I'm working on refining now, you can get:
CL35 or less, AR1 k60%, about 12k health.
CL23 or so, AR1 k41%, about 10k health.
if you can handle the wonkiness of multiple pet AI and pathing (and aggro management, and the rest), then you can field a pair at an effective health of 120k (vs kinetic)... or a trio with about 102k effective health (again, vs kinetic). if you can get intim stuck to those, then you can double the effective health.
AND... for now, at least, you can buff the regens in health and action and basically have unstoppable meatshields... vs kinetic.
if nothing else, you can get tank versions at CL35 or 23, and add damage-variants in the remaining CL's.
(edit: it's late, and my math might be a little off... but it'd only be off by a little.)
