Thread: Bug trading pets?

Ok, I have been away a while and have started upa new character. Planned on going CH/rifleman because its a fun combo (yes I know "itz teh sux" in pvp.
I was always in the habit of taming everything lvl 9 and below I ever saw while traveling and then just passing them out to newbies for fun companion pets. Tonight I tried to do this and all 3 times, with 3 different pets it rejected teh transfer, and told the newbie they had too many pets.
None of these players were more than an hour into the game, I had all 3 call and then store their newbie droid, and one relogged to try to fix it (I give out cool snakes and birds with the occasional rat).
I had no problem giving a 1000 newbie CH a lvl 14 snake, but these newbie CL pets seemed bugged.
Anyone else have this problem since the new patch?

Were these aggressive creatures? If so, a non-CH can't even trade for them unless he's wearing taming clothes or has eaten almond kwevvu munchies. The error message is kind of generic and says 'Too many pets' even if that's not the reason the trade failed.

No, they were generic crap like slum rats from around cities. Its working again this morning and I gave away the pets to a group of sexy wookiee. I put in a bug report.

An ex-CH was trying to give me his Graul's and Toxic Battlelord last night and I was getting the same problem. He had to relog and try it 10 times before it worked?? I don't get it.
I had my taming clothes on too.

I'm having a similar problem with a couple BE'd pets. I can't seem to give them away to anyone. I'm a master CH and I've tried giving them to CHs and non-CHs alike...
Natural creatures I can transfer just fine to those same people, but can't give them any BE'd pets...
Keeps telling me they have too many pets

transfer command is definately bugged in pub 10 now. Just tried to transfer my wild lvl 14 kaadu to a non-ch. didn't work. Then i destroyed one of my pets for free space. Mounted the lvl 10 BE spat for my customer and transfer didn't work on that one either. With trade window it worked fine though. :/
