Just a question Vert or anyone in the know,
1) When is Blightspeed supposed to launch?
2) Has anyone got an invite to the Beta yet?
3) If not how can they Beta test something no one is invited to?

1) When is Blightspeed supposed to launch? No clue. No interest in actually paying for it either.
2) Has anyone got an invite to the Beta yet? You cannot honestly believe I would get beta in an SWG game.
3) If not how can they Beta test something no one is invited to? Johnny got a golden ticket. LOL. Seemed like a good place to put a Willy Wonka Reference.

2) Has anyone got an invite to the Beta yet? CD keys have gone out to some people but it is not "up" yet ant is offically called "Alpha" which makes me think that beta is the live version
3) If not how can they Beta test something no one is invited to? Why beta test when people will pay to do it

Liberation,
I am curious to know when the servers will empty of people.
I can then traverse the ground game and not being stumbling over Jedi every other step. I bet the Jedi grind is going to kill off a bunch of players too.
AND my sig says When the fix GCW and Combat Revamp. I didn't say I WASN'T going to get it. I also will probably not get it for at least 6 months if ever. For the reasons stated. We were told 2 month beta, release is slotted Oct. 28, that is not 2 months.
Lastly, what business is it of yours why I want to know, I just want to know.

- JTL Beta testing is supposed to start in October (end of September soonest?).
- I went to Fanfest so will get automatic invite to Beta. I haven't received any invite, so that's probably a good indication Beta hasn't started. I hope LOL.
- They can't Beta test JTL in a month. Just doesn't seem possible. So, ignore that proposed release date of Oct. 27th. Ain't gonna happen. (Unless they start Beta like today).
- BTW, for those who are interested in JTL, the previews they showed at Fanfest were very cool. It should bea heck of a lot of fun. That remains to be seen of course.

I just find it hard to believe that these same developers that are destroying SWG are going to make a totally awesome sounding game such as JTL...

They aren't all they are doing is tweaking the X-wing Vs Tie engine

It will happen. You have to understand the power of marketing. Ready or not, deffinately not, they are not going to miss the X-mas shopping season. So, what ever they have will be released for mom and dad, who are clueless, to buy for X-mas gifts. Just need a fancy looking box. It could be empty and sell.

I agree one hundred percent (100%) with talon.
What we are going to see in Jump to Blightspeed, or Jack to Lightbeer is just a jumped up version of Xwing vs Tie fighter. I looked at the screenshots and the game guide they provided and you know what, dang that looks a lot like Xwing vs Tie fighter. So I pulled out my old manual and by gum the controls are exactly the same.
The joke is this, SKILL TREES!! OMG we get to grind in space. Aren't you just looking forward to that. Get misson, go to misson point, mission point moves 3 light years away, get there, mission evaporates back to base. Get new mission, do same thing, get to mission waypoint, Lasers don't work, torpedoes don't work, ship autostores, breath vacumn, wake up in cloning station.
Gee that sounds like my total experience is SWG to date. And I get to do this in the panoramic of space. Yeah. Only problem is my razor cat won't keep me company.
I want my BooBoo monkey!

Thx for bringing that topic up SkyPreacher1 (I almost forgot about nothing happening on the beta test i applied for like 2 or 3 months ago i think). Smells like JTL-release will be postponed or live-tested (by whom???). Well, SOE will know what's right... (right??? /cry). But my bet IS: They sure hired some !!!NASA!!! pilots to test this one. LOL (SOE loves us *nod*).
