Thread: be pets special attacks please help
Ok, you currently do not have the ability to train yourBE pets to do their special attacks. Check your ctrl s to see what levels you can start training. I got MCH before the nerf so I do not have any experience nowwith leveling up the current system. The option on the radial dial under the train commandwill be special attack 1, special attack 2, ranged attack, ONLY if your pet can do one or more of these types of attacks.
Now, my experience has so far been that ANY special attack or ranged attack is BUGGED and BROKEN!!! I have used my commands before attacking, and during attacking and have not found them to work or work consistently for my taste.

You have to train Sp 1 and Sp 2. If the pet is over CL 10 and does not have the transfer command, sometimes they will transfer any in the data pad to window, but don't attempt this unless the receiving person is a MCH and can teach the transfer command at the same time. This is an unpredictable bug that dev is not dealing with.
The pets, once taught sp1 and sp2, they can use the commands once they are full grown.
The commands are in the Taming branch.
Your pets will use their specials without you telling them to, it's just that the Dev's thought it would be neat if we could tell them to do it.... and as you have said you have already read posts about the complexities of that.
