haha you're kidding right? I guarantee you it's there so that you can let someone else give your pets commands, not to double your xp.

I think it's been "broken" off and on. I have gotten it to work before, andit can be usefulas a sort of pet assist. (So that one person can make sure all the pets are on the same target). Also if you need to run afk and the groupdoesn't want to stop to rest, you can befriend your pets so they keep helping while you gofix something to eat.

I never said it had anything to do with training... you can't train a pet that is befriended to you... you must use the commands it already knows.
I said it's meant for someone else (other than the owner) to give the pet commands (as in issue them so that the pet does what that person says.)
