Thread: My pets seem to be 'growing up' as 'babies'

What am I doing wrong - Ive a couple of pets now (both crimson razor cats) that are fully frown (lvl 29) but thier title still says 'a crimson razor cat (baby)'....am I doing something wrong with their upbringing? - does anyone know what stpes I can take in future to avoid my TMB baby (just trained - woot!) growing up with his 'baby' tag still there?

that is just the pets current name. You haveto rename it. Its not that its a baby. That was just its default name until you rename it yourself.

Err - this is just the 'Name' tag they have when you tame them. It will be replaced with the creature's name when you give it one. If you never name the creature it will show as 'a crimson razor cat(baby)' or whatever.
(Train at least 4 commands prefixed by the name you want to give the creature - the creature will then be given that name)

so a 'crimson razor cat (baby)' wont grow up into a 'crimson razor cat' ? - doesnt' make sense to me, but thanks for the clarification.

if you plan on selling pets its a good thing to leave the baby tag on it till the sale is made helps move pets faster if people know right off its not a BE pet

Yes, I to wish the devs would make the baby tag dissapear from adult pets... Although I dought it will ever happen. Just one of the little annoyances we have to live with like organizing your datapad everytime you use a shuttle...
