3 days of searching and only 2 spawns found during that time. I was freaking out after no baby came from the first spawn, but decided to ride around a bit longer. So I finally hit another spawn next to the battlefield north of coronet. Of course, there were other creatures all around the Great Plains Stalker spawning point. So the first one attacks my bol and I immediately dismount. I manage to kill it and wait for the second. This time, it's still an adult, but goes right for a slice hound lair. I start to worry that a baby might attack a surrounding spawn. Soooo, I manage to kill every threatening spawn and wait for the 3rd to pop up. Sure enough, BABY!!!!!! It comes racing at my bol and I'm screaming "Follow! Follow! Follow!" So it stops attacking and I command my bol to stay in the clear. I mask my scent and go in for the tame. FIRST try and I now have one of the most illusive babies around. I didn't even have any bio-cloth. Me so happy!

Also props to me for finding a webmaster the other day without looking. ^_^
