Creature Handler is the only profession in the game that hasnothing to gain by getting an anti decay kit (except for maybe eintertainers, I dunno if they have anything that can decay). All the other combat professions can use them on weapons and armor andcrafters can use them on crafting tolls they take out into the field, but what do creature handlers gain with these? Absolutely nothing. You might be thinking something along the lines of"You wrong! I'm a CH and I just put one on my Ub3r new Acid Rifle so they benifit me alot!"my respone is simply. No I am not wrong,In that case it has benifited you as a rifleman but not as acreature handler. We are the only combat profession in the game that can not use these on our weapons. I please ask that the devs allow these to be used on creature pets making them immune to vitality loss. Thank you for your time.

I'm inclined to argue that yes, while it sucks that there was nothing creature-specific in the way of veteran rewards, there were rewards that just about any class can make use of or that would be of enjoyment/value to a CH despite not being creature-oriented. The anti-decay kits really aren't for crafters (who would waste it on expendable crafting tools?), they're more for combatants with their armor and weapons. You could say that our pets are our weapons, but we all know that given the current state of the profession, that's not true. If we engage in combat at all, then we all have separate, damage-dealing professions that compliment CH- and so we can all make use of the anti-decay kit for said professions.

After the decay kits were announced, I asked if they could be made to affect pet vitality per community requests. I'm sorry this didn't happen for whatever reason.
I don't know what the mission statement behind the veteran rewards is, but it seems pretty reasonable to conclude these aredesigned asgeneralizedgifts(such that everyone should be able to find something theylike) with no particular targeting toward individual professions.

The kits would not be wasted because you can destroy the item and the kit back.
I use and consider my pets as weapons just as muc as any other gun in my inventory. And wouldnt it be nice to make that rare baby you just tamed immune to vitality loss. Heck then you might actually use it sometime!
Thank you for proving my point. Im saying that these need to be given a use for CHs. And I am NOT reffering to the benifits that we get from using it on another profession specific item like a pistol, carbine, stun baton, armor,ect......

Well they said they wouldnt target individual professions. To bad they didnt say they wouldnt exclude particular professions. This really honestly ticks me off. After the life day patch that removed the 75% damage reduction in PvP from pets I thought the devs had finally pulled there heads outta there rear endsand decided to play fair. I guess this is what I get for thinking

how about some realy cool looking BE cloths we have to help us tame, it could be used on that.
or you could just sell it and use the monney to try and find someone to sell a rare to you.
other than that im out of ideas to how the decay kits can help CH

I hear ya...... but CH's can also wear armor, wield a few weapons, and even if you don't...you can sell it for over 6 million. Everyone can use that.

Skill modclothes work even when completely broken. I know for a fact because I tamed my bull rancor while wearing a taming shirt at 0 condition. So thats not really a valid bonus for CHs. Any yes money does help everyone

Since creatures are the armor AND weapon of creature handlers I fail to see how we can use it for OUR armor and weapons. Equippable armor and weapons are the armor and weapons of other combat classes. Not ours.

c'mon joker you didn't go bull hunting in boxers weilding a survival knife did you?...we all use weapons and armor, and we can all find something to use the decay kit for, and like someone said, you can get 8 (10mil)figures for one on my server, but then again how do credits benifit ch?..we are all about pets and nned no credits..lol..i really think peole are taking this too seriously..you can't use it on a vehicle either, which would be nice as i am on my 3rd av-21, so it's not an insult to ch and shouldn't be percieved as one

Just because you dont consider your pets weapons dosent mean others like myself dont. Im pushing for this now because after the CU (which will supposedly make us viable in combat)the devs probably are not going to have the time to do much of anything about this for awhile, because of all the bug fixes they are going to be doing.

I read this just recently here in the ch forum asking vert to check and see if it was possible.
I think this is a good idea but not for the reasons some are saying
to me its not about keeping my weapon from decaying or my sheild its simply a way to keep my favorite pet
for as long as I play swg.
I want to keep my firstbought pet, my firsttamed pet and I want to keep my first mount, I also want to keep my best protector lol
ok I could choose one hmm tough one lol but considering sometimes stuff spawns on you and you might send your mount in to help you or even your favorite pet you were playing with while camped lol vitality loss even at 98% makes me sad. I feel as though i let my pet down lol
all it would do is allow us peace of mind. considering i still have a non ch pet from over a year ago what harm would it be to make him as immortal as myself in this game. we cant clone our pets as we do ourselves and this would be thenext best thing
