I tried searching the forums for an answer to this and couldn't seem to find an answer. I'm currently 4/4/1/4 human CH and I was trodding about dathomir looking for rancors (I mean who "isn't" at this level) Now I was told head west of the northen outpost..and sure enough I saw TONS of rancors...BUT they were enraged bull rancors and also ones that said enraged rancor...after sending my pet to hit at their lairs to force some spawns..I only got more adult rancors enraged bull and regular enraged.. so I'm guessing these are not amongst the tamable types of rancors.. now I know the gnarled kind are tamable but I have not seen them anywhere or any other type aside from enraged..I walked all the way west of the northen outpost until i ran right smack into the edge of the map hehe.. anyone have any advice on where to look for the tamable rancors? and which types are possible to tame? gnarled and bull?

You were in the right place. West of the north outpost is rancor land. If you start seeing Grauls, you have walked too far.

The two types of tamable rancors are: "Gnarled Rancor (baby)" and "Rancor (baby)". That's it.Bulls, enraged, ancients do notspawn babies.

Bio Engineer's can craft Rancors (not Gnarled Rancors). Their Rancor's tend to have a bit more HAM, hit harder (although they tend to hit slower) and can also have better accuracy.

Cheers,

I'm sure that its around here somewhere on all these boards, but as I am at work and don't have time to search, (and a bit lazy to boot) which if the freelance trainers are which faction? I hear all these alliances smugglers alliance, etc. Which is neutral, imp or reb?

Thanks for the info, since I just started working on tier 3 (again) I would hate to go to much fruther and realize that I am in the wrong faction.

There are three neutral factions: Smugglers alliance (Working for Jabba I think)
CorSec (working for corsec)
And the last is RSF I think (Working for the RSF)
There are also three squads for each the Rebel and Imperial
Hope that helps

I think you're asking about which Neutral factions do which corvette mission to get Ace.

RSF (helps the Empire and goes after the Rebel 'vette)

Corsec (gets to choose)

Smuggler's Alliance (helps the Rebels and goes after the Imperial 'vette)

Gilack Mehoipou [Bloodfin]

Quintuple Master- Marksman/Squad Leader/Rifleman/Vortex Pilot/Politician

Thanks to you both,, and yes this was the info I was looking for. This tells me that I have to dump my skills and start over again with a new faction....damn it.

Why would you do that for anything other than RP reasons? Your ground faction won't stop you from completing the mission as given by your trainer, the neutral faction you choose bascially only dictates the badge you get at master.

Only reason that I know of is that anyone that can help me with the master missions will be of the opposite faction that I need them to be. If I need help taking out an imp corvette and all my fellow guildmates are Ace Imp pilots or Reb corvetter and everyone is Rebel Ace pilots, that pretty much does me in on them helping out.

Other than that I have no real reason to switch.
