actually i believe those were going to be considered exploits. as they were made using a bug in the BE crafting system if memory serves me correctly. i wouldnt useit as i believe it may be considered the same type of exploit as the 40k swoops. just a small piece of advice.

No, what it is is a pre BE revamp BE pet. All from that time period came out at CL1. If you tamed one made pre-revamp today, it'd come out as CL1.

That thing is an abomination ans should be destroyed.
Anything "CL 1" with those stats is bugged. Period.

I had one of those 40k swoops (43000 actually), and I logged in one day to find my swoop on fire. Quick run to the garage for a repair, and discovered that it had been nerfed to 3600. I never felt bad about having or using the swoop, because when it would need to be repaired, I was typically spending $65k for repair costs......I just didn't have to go to the garage as often as all my friends did. But as a MCH, I don't think I personally would feel comfortable using a CL1 pet with those kind of stats. It just seems "wrong"..........and I wouldn't want to tempt the CH Gods in to punishing me for my transgressions.
Now.......I've actually only seen ONE pre-nerf animal; it was a CL1 Kimo with 10k ham and dam in the 350-400 range. Not knowing very much about those pre-nerf animals, I'm not even certain that once pulled out and/or used, it won't be adjusted up in level or down in stats like my swoop was.

I would feel pretty odd using it too, but I think someone came in and said they wern't exploits since they specifically fixed the BE calc to the still unfixed level it is today but purposefully didn't change those pets?

The whole thing was dreadfully mismanaged by the devs and the CSRs, and I think they're afraid to aggressively go after those bugged pets that remain. Too many bad memories.

Might be some truth to that, but you'd think those 20 new developers could do it to save the older developers if this was the case?

The 20 new devs are doing a lot of work, to include CURB and "secret projects", which means expansions.
The new devs basically freed up a lot of dev horsepower to deal with all the things that have been neglected for the last 18 months.

I would keep it if I found it. For novelty if anything, I would not use it in combat though. Finding something like that, or having something like that is rare and unique in my opinion.
I could not delete such a pet..

I have a pre-nerf Rancor that I lied to someone in order to obtain. Though more it wasto keep it from her, a non-ch. She asked me to tame it and check it's level cause she thought it was a pre-nerf but wasn't sure. I lied and said it was CL57 (# pulled off the top of my head), then paid her the amount of credits she said she paid for it since she 'nolonger wanted it', but was mad about the credits spent on it. it was something over 500k, I don't recall. I paid her then bowed and got the heck out of Dodge. Yea I feel bad for lying, but I woulda felt worse leaving it in the hands of someone who should not have had it.
His name is Duo and I've paired him up with my other Rancor, Forest, just having them out for display out in front of Mos Eisly cantina now and then to RP or scare the noobs. I've only ever used them to tag-team the Ackley, help fight sith thugs, and once some guy wanted to see if he could take on both of them at once unbuffed.
I'm not bothered by the fact that he is prenerfed, his resists leave a bit to be desired, but that is what Forest is for. Forest lasts longer in a fight than Duo does. It is far more fun keeping him for RP purposes.
