Thread: How old is your oldest pet?

Just curious.. I have the first pet I ever tamed (Tiko, a rogue bageraset) from about a month after the game launched. Anyone else have pets this old? Do you still hunt with them, or do you keep them for sentimental reasons?

Well, my first few tames are long gone now, but I've had a strange tendency to re-name new pets after the originals, such as a desert vesp named Percy, named after my first ever tame, a rill. My original cu pa is also long gone, but has been replaced a few times by a wasteland cu pa, and currently a be'd cu pa all named Bobo. My current oldest pet I've had for about 6 months(been playing the game for 7) is a Mountain Dewback named Dewbacca, being my first dewback of any kind I ever tamed, and he'll stay in my Dpad for as long as I play the game. He's saved my life too many times to list. I don't use him much anymore, but I still pull him out from time to time for races and such.

Hmm.. I still have my Greater Sludge Panther which I have kept all this time. I just now found the post I made talking about helping someone find good pets and finding him. It was on 11/05/03 that I found Sludgie as a baby. So he's 1 year 3 months old! We've been through a lot together, the nerfs, the injustice of forcing him in my datapad and me not being able to bring him out thanks to that one nerf which made his level higher than I was at the time. Not once though during that did I let him go! I need to reward him sometime. He deserves it. THANK YOU SLUDGIE! lol

I got rid of my very first 2 pets, but my third is a Dalyrake Matriarch (Scythe) that I got probably in October of Year 1, pretty close to when they made them extinct along with other royalty. Makes it all the more sweet that I still have him. I regularly use him as a ranged support pet while one of my BE pets tanks.

the oldest pets i still own are my Frenzied Graul tamed aug 2003 and my King Merek Harvy tamed a couple weeks prior.
Still used daily and still love em much as the day i first got em. My most cherished companions in my datapad.

The oldest pet I have is my GPS. I tamed him on 10/15/04 at about 8am central time.
I've since released all my ch skills and traded/set free the majority of my pets, but that GPS and a BE razor cat have been there since then.
I'm on my way to remastering the CH profession now, I missed my pets too much.
Gonna hafta get a new pair of Crimson Razor cats, greater sludge panthers, a famished sludge panther, graul maulers, rancor, buy a new kimo.
Oh I can't wait!
I quit back when our pets were silent. I think that may have been a factor in my (bad) decision.

My oldest pet is a greater sludge panther, Butch, who I tamed my very first night as a CH, back in later July '03. Still have a wrix I tamed on Talus about a week later, and my dewback, Huey, was tamed about 10 days later. Still ride Huey almost every day, and Butch played a major role in my regrind, he got nearly all the work against enraged rancors on Dath.
Nearly all of my pets have been on my datapad for over a year. Two exceptions...swamp stalker tamed on Christmas Day, and a giant veermok I picked up near my home on Naboo about two weeks ago.

My Mountain Dewback which I tamed as soon as I could handle level 20....must've been September '03 or something like that. And I still use him as a mount.

My oldest pet is my cu pa, Tonto, who I got at novice CH.. so I think that was mid July 2003. I still have him and haven't put a saddle on him. I just want him like he was when he helped me all those times in the beginning.

My oldest is my GSP Razorwitt I tamed him back in July or August of '03 his vit has taken quite a few hits (currently 92/92) but he is my loyal and true cat.
He helped me grind MCH 2x now and guarded my back when I did my rebel missions around AH. But alas and alack this was before the great nerf

hm... my oldest i believe would be my Ancient Reptilian Flier and my Giant Crystal Snake. Used to PVP against TKM's with my rancor and Giant Crystal snake. Rancor for damage and snake for a mean poison that would stack for up to 600 a tick. dunno how they would do since the great nerf...
