hey folks

I may be jumping the gun here but if someone could see if they're pets hold the faction symbol if you drop your faction.

I may be working untill late and wont be able to check myself but I shall try to explain

I have another character who is Mch/Jedi, he is only a low lvl padawan and its fun to have my pets with me as I grind xp cant wait to climb the powers tree should be good having petcalm with ch lol.

Aweek ago I dropped my rebel faction for the upcoming patch. I didnt want undo attention during the jedi grind. I noticed after the hour and I was reset as nuetral that my pets still holf the faction emblem after they are called. In the last week it has been that way each time I have called a pet even though I am nuetral my pets hold a rebel flag.

The pets do not agro any opposing faction so this may be just a graphics bug. what I am wondering though is after this patch if it is having any type of impact.

I know I am juming the gun a little bit but if anyone has dropped they're faction and can check and see if pets are fine after the new patch I would appreciate it. If not I shall check myself tomorrow.

Be warned if you drop your faction you will be dropped in faction points to a max of 1000. dont want anyone to try testing this and losing any points.

In case anyones interested

it would seem that dropping a faction does not leave you nuetral as it might say in the old system. I logged on tonight and I was now set as rebel on leave.

The new system reset me. It would appear that in the old and new system that having -5k faction points and + in another has an effect as to what you are set at. in the old system it may have said I was nuetral but my pets weren't lol.

Its a minor bug and I shall be setting that char as a civilian soon. I did bug it ingame just incase the devs want to tweak it lol.

It doesnt effect agro on pets with opposing factions so basically its all a mute point

Well at least it doesn't affect anything serious. Kinda dumb that they missed that though.

On TC-Gorath I used the frogs and bought a AT-ST.Then i went to the recruiter to drop the faction. Called out the ATST and when my faction turned to civillian i quickly joined rebel.

For about 1 minute i was a rebel with an ATST pet following me around with a rebel insignia .

I was hoping to get a few blasts off at an imperial SF bufore it autostored... but i was to late.
