I read somewhere that they are supposed to spawn from Dune Bantha lairs. I haven't been able to find any though.

I tamed a CL10 dwarf bantha fom a dune bantha lair on TC-Prime the day before it went down.

the only times i have seen dwarf banthas lately they have spawned from bull bantha lairs. dune bantha lairs seem to spawn only dune banthas. also, i have yet to see a dwarf bantha baby.

Heh... actually, I didn't know this about BE'd creature size being determined by level. I'd been wondering why I'd started seeing enormous hermit spiders and greater sludge panthers roaming around all of a sudden. I mean, one GSP was the size of a Clydesdale!

But to answer your question about whether dwarf banthas spawn naturally as separate "dwarf bantha" lairs: I don't know. Been a while since I'd spent substantial amounts of time on Tatooine. Best I can say is that motley kaadus spawn in their own lairs. Hopefully, dwarf banthas do as well.

If you aren't finding any dwarf banthas, it's because you are having bad luck . I got 2 of these the other day, for some Non-CH people who needed pets. On average, I'd say about 1/5th of the lairs will spawn a baby. I've never tried a Dune Bantha lair, but I KNOW they spawn from Bull Bantha lairs and regular Bantha lairs....and I'm pretty sure they also spawn from Matriarch Bantha lairs. O, and when I say they spawn from 1/5 of the lairs, I mean within the first 2 spawns. Maybe I'm imagining things, but it seems to me that each lair is born knowing whether or not it wants to spawn babies, and what type of babies those will be. Some lairs dont spawn any. The lairs that DO spawn babies, at least it seems this way to me, tend to spawn their 1 type of baby, but not spawn any others. So, your best bet is to just do what I did, don't stick around and kill the lair, that'll take too long and probably wont have any better results.

I believe I heard something about Publish 21 that all lairs WILL have babies in them. However, like you meantioned, dwarf bantha's don't really have a lair of their own that they can spawn in.
