They changed the forumla. Now non-wookiees can also tame up to CL 70, however it is much harder to succeed at that level than it was in the past.

I would recommend getting +25 in taming clothes as the extra bonus can't hurt.

I'm a wookiee CH, and I never had a problem taming anything before I left the game a year ago. Now, I can't tame anything over CL 60. Did something happen in the past year that made taming gear a requirement?

Your character might be bugged, please read the stickies for more information about that. And if that is not the case..............then yes I would suggest you buy taming clothes and see if that helps. If it does then there was obviously a change.

yeah, i do have the option to change, but it just fails a lot. I was finally able to tame a CL 62 after about 15 tries, but I have not had any luck with critters any higher. I guess it's off to find some good BE clothes
