HAHAHA. I dont mean to laugh, but I feel the need to. I had the same problem. I am on the Wanderhome server as well. It was near impossible to find, but I know where to go, and I will get you Thick Skin L1. If you can find me Self Sacrifice L1 i would be delighted. I have searched the Wanderhome galaxy, and I feel confident I will find your ability in a matter of only 20 minutes. Only problem is, I wont be logging on tonight, but I will be ontomorrow morning, before and after server maintenance.

Thick skin L1 is a tricky bit of deception but here is where to find it guys.

Talus rot mites along the southern shore.

Rori forest mites and any mite in general.

Seriously tamed this ability about a hundred times.

Just go south of dearic or around the rebel outpost on rori. The reason you aint found it I guess is because its on rori and talus second because it spawns on low pop planets that have spawn issues.

You can try this: On Sunrunner we setup a CreatureHandler chat channel. When CH's are out taming and training pets, they can keep an eye on the chat and pass off pets they don't need, or offer credits for specific specials. We only have a few CH's that use it alot, but more are catching on.

woot. looks like i was lucky to find thick skin 1 on a kreetle last week as Talus and Rori are both dead planets on Eclipse. haven't found a wild lair of any creature on them for weeks now.

I am on sunrunner but remember any player can prime a planet to spawn on their own.

1. Do not more in straight lines circle around a area.

2. Kill everything it makes the system generate more spawn not only to replace spawn lost but attempt to make it harder for the killers.

3. Water is your friend creatures spawn more on the shore then in mid country. Maybe because the water forces the spawns that would spawn in it onto shore.

4. Avoid map edges on starter worlds like rori talus tattooine corellia. Remember these worlds only generate content when it is needed in other words the spawns are not there. Whereas on dathomir yavin endor the countryside is rich, and near the corners server boundries alot of spawning takes place.

5. Cities are your friends stay near to them. Anything can spawn near a city now.

6. Do not equate hard to reach places with good babies to tame. This most often takes you to a empty zone.

7. Stop from time to time and wait for a few minutes this helps alot.

8. Follow the pattern creatures often spawn in clusters. On dathomir the far southern corner is full of sheer mites. On yavin around the mineing outpost is exceptional North of jabas palace on tat is good for many higher level creatures banthas giant sand beetles dewbacks and the like.

9, Avoid mountains as a rule no extra gain for greater effort. It slows down the terrain you cover.

This is all sound tameing advice that should up your tameing. For instance carveing a path straight through talus will not pay the dividends that cirleing dearic or going to the seashore will give you.

This is some fine, fine advice... maybe you should speak with our correspondent about making this into a more detailed help sheet to be stickied at the top of our forum page. Low animal spawning seems to be a growing problem in our community...

Tzitzimime - Creature Handler and Pikeman since the beginning.
I continue to play this game out of love for my professions.

When the "New Game Enhancements" go live, I will leave this game.
You can give it a pretty name, but it does not hide your shame...

"I mean, what is a pikeman and why is it something in the game? The only other profession we didn't absorb into one of these iconic templates is the creature handler and only 1% of our players play that character type."
