"As I step out from the starport, I raise my head and gaze into millions of stars.
For a minute I just stand there, quiet, breathing the nightly air of Dathomir.
Stars, burning bright in the usually cloud covered sky.

With a light heart, I leave the little outpost behind,
followed by the buzzing sounds of service droids and cheerful tunes from the tavern.
As I kneel to touch the dirt and feel the grass with my hands,
I can hear the reassuring sound of my friend breathing.
It's almost as if he was whispering to me, "I am right here. This night belongs to us."

We have been together for a long time now, ever since that day when I found him
tied to a tree by a group of rugged looking men.
Together we have wandered the deserts of Tatooine, slept by the rivers of Endor and
climbed the hills and mountains on Corellia.
Though it was a long time ago, I can still see him before me;
scared, bleeding from dozens of wounds, wild eyes watching the men around him.
