Last night I was searching for the GPS and decided to just focus on one area of the map, sw of lord nyax and kept killing anything that crossed my path. When lair after lair of mottled wrix began to appear the overwhelming appearance of cat spawns made me stop and take them hoping a Great Plains Stalker would eventually spawn.

I took down 4 identical mottled wrix spawns when there it spawned by the riverbank. Now what happened next I cannot explain because I have never seen anything like it before. The Great Plains Stalker began to run as soon as it was spawned. There was no other lairs located in the area so I knew it hadnt aggroed on anything close by and did not see anyone drive by recently. I immediately got in my AV-21 and began to make pursuit.

I was going as fast as I can and GPS not only stayed ahead of me but was actually getting farther and farther away. I couldnt believe it as the GPS soon vanished and I was left pondering what I could have done differently. I had followed the GPS almost a 1000 meters so decided to go back and hope for another spawn. No more spawns for the rest of the night.

What is so special abouta Great Plain Stalker sorry in advanced for sounding like such a noob

The NGE is sort of like seeing your spouse with Alzheimer's. Outwardly, everything appears the same as it always has, but you know that beneath the surface, things will never be the same.

Why go after the GPS

Its difficulty level combined with its rarity makes it a very nice pet to have. I also like the cats and this one is the grand daddy of them all.

Why go after it?

a) it is a RARE baby.

b) it is THE biggest baddest (lvl 51)tamable creature on Corelia(a starting world, reknowned for simplistic animals, like Durnis, Gubburs, and Butterflies for peet's sake).

c) it is a "trophy" animal.

d) it is a cat...fastest creatures alive (next to Krayt dragons I suppose).
