Thread: An easier way to find a bull rancor baby?

I think ive figured out how to find a bull rancor baby a lot easier then it was before. Right now I have 2 bull rancor missions about 700m apart. I go to one and tap the lair once and then ride around and see what spawns. If nothing interesting does (I.E Bull rancor baby) i move to the other lair and do the same thing. Would this work or am i just wasting my time?

I run bull rancor missions (18K) regularly. They don't spawn babies. The only baby I have seen to date was in a large wild lair, and a ********** Nightsister Ranger killed it.
The missions, much like the mantigrue screecher missions on Endor, just don't cough them up. People on these forums have had success but only after literally hundreds of bull rancor mission lairs.

stop contradicting yourself. you're saying they can't, then in the next paragraph, saying they can but only after hundreds of lairs. pick one and go with it.
i hope you go with they can, because THEY DO.

In the first paragraph I talked about the mission lairsnot spawning a baby. I'm sorry, it was very late last night when I posted (note to self not to post when I am 3/4ths asleep)

, and after re-reading my first post it looks a bit garbled. Let merestate what I said so that I am clear. It has been my personal experience as an MCH that bull rancor babies don't spawn on the 18K Bull Rancor Mission lairs.
But, the baby that I stumbled across was in a largerwild non-mission lair.
So yes, they can spawn. As far as spawning from the mission lairs, I haven't seen it happen yet, personally. Only on a wild lair have I seen a Bull Rancor baby.
But if you or anyone else tells me "Bull Rancor baby sighted" on a mission terminal lair, I will also believe you. I just haven't seen it happen yet.
Personally, I'm notviciously pursuing the the bull ranc as I am the GPS, though I do go to Dath and run Bull Ranc missions for a few hours. If for nothing else, I usually at least walk away with a bit of money. I personally am more hot on the trail of getting a plains stalker right now.

I found one about 1700m SE of Science Outpost just by chance (this is the one that spawned the baby). Riding around on Dath, the density of spawn is pretty thick, so you should come across one sooner or later.
