Thread: Baby Rancors
Do baby rancors still spawn or are they still extinct? and if they still do exist can somebody give me a waypoint as to where i can tame one? or give me some coords or something?

baby normal rancors spawn pretty frequently, but there is no specific location. Hit Dathomir NW quarter during peak times and you'll catch tons of backspawn (most of it is undesirable). A Ranger Tracker also helps. We were out searching for Rancor Teeth and were slaying baby rancors left and right because I already had one and no one else was a CH.
Yes BE rancors are overall better. If you wanna tame a wild one go nw of the map and run around the red hilly area thats where i find them the most. They are great for hunting cuz of the high resists...I would use them or the graul mauler if you don't have one of the extinct pets (arachne webmaster, frenzied graul etc.)
FYI, rancors were never extinct only 2 types ever spawned, rancor and gnarled rancor...there might have been a bull rancor at one time but that was something I read on the boards and i hunted rancors a lot in my youth for pets.
