Creature Handler Archive

Well I've been looking forever for a greater sludge panther, or even just a regular one. And yes I can find them after long periods of running. But never, not even once, have I been able to find a baby with them (well maybe once or twice, but then I just died trying to tame the sucker). I'd really appreciate any tips to where I can find them easily.

there is no easy way...what you doing is it...i spent 6 hours looking once till i bought a baby for 15k off someone

I had many harvestors up all over talus... I don't live there but I'd have to say I spent about 20 hours total traveling there. In this time I've only seen 5 GSP. Sold one gave one away, keeping 3. good luck.

dudes they are all over talus close to the imp base. If you want to find a certain critter they are in concentrations about 1k around cities or bases not out in the open wild for some reason.

If you find a GSP lair and no babies, I found that you can spawn babies if you keep firing at the lair. Get everything to spawn out of the lair and there should be a baby. If not walk about 500 meters out and come backthe lair will respawn critters.

I found some out hunting this morning. I was about to tame a baby when they all attacked. I was pretty unhappy.

Talus-->Imperial Outpost--->spawn along rivers to the south

bah, he was right! i've tamed over a hundred in that locale back when i sold pets to scrape by. "hundreds and i scraped by?", you say. yea, i play on eclipse and you should check out the auctions on the forum and see how much an uber gun cost. now i grind. as a master ch my only advantage is PvE play. PvP i couldn't take anyone specializing in a combat skill. so i solo 10k missions for a couple hours, sometimes take newbies to help their pockets!

Become friends with a Master Ranger, with Camo packs, I see them all the time when I'm not even looking for them, I usually tell a couple of MCH's that I know when I run across them. And with camo properly applied I walk up and pet the little babies until my friends get there.

well considering a GSp is not aggro unless they changed it when i cuaght my 5 or so then you don't need camo. Now the Sludge panthers are aggro buit the greaters are not. As for the best way to get a GSP baby. Well find the lair or staic spawn and kill all the adlts. eventually a baby will spawn then walk right up and get it. Or send me an ingame email and Ill capture you one and sell it to you.

added on to this...i've gotten 3-4 babies to spawn with each lair that is pecked at..... but for every child there is 4-5 adults..... hell i jsut run around prancing adn lairs have babies left and rite.. one time had to babies outside.. didnt feel like fighitn for otehr so ket running and 500m away was a baby by itself not close to anything.. so just keep yur feet moving adn you'll get lucky
