Thread: CH/BH having problems
Thanks for theidea! Next problem for me to figure out- overcoming lag when placing a camp
. Someday, somehow, I will get my choice of professions to work out . . .

You can be sneaky. Extend your radar to as far as you can, when you can just make him out. At about 500m or so, dismount from your speeder. Walk near him, but not in a beeline, for instance, if he is at a 90 angle to you, walk at about a 75 angle, and keep him a bit parralell (pretty sure I messed up that word)to you. Break out your pets, and a harvey droid.
Odds are, he would have seen you at 500m or so anyway. By the time you make to300m, they might ask if you are a BH. If you are sneaky, youwill have a CH tag up. You could reply with something along the lines of how you heard there was a good spawn in this area of ________ for your guild tailor/armorsmith/chef/be. You could always ask what they are grinding away at. Or, you could see for yourself and just use that for what you are hunting after. Then you ask if you could group with them. The reason could be for that group harvest bonus.
I have done this before and it has done pretty good.
Easy fix is to implement an idea I had =p (ok, perhaps others have had it as well)
I posted somewhat on this on a mount speed thread, but you could just add:
Max Creature Speed +X (up to a preset speed cap) - to every box of the CH profession. They could also add a
Call Creature Time -3 (sec) - to each of the top 4 and master boxes of the CH profession to alleviate the timer all together, but keep the benefit to people who dedicate those precious skill points to the master title.

i'm a master CH, master BH, pistoleer 0/0/4/4, enhanced reflexes 0/4/0/0. Your problem with trying to get pets out in time is really a simple matter...really :-) call them before you reach your target and have them follow you, i also leave the tag above me as master CH to further remove suspition. When i move towards them , and getting close i don't keep a course of running straight at them to spook them, i sorta pick an angle to look like i'm gonnajustpassby them. When i get my target within 35m i root them and give order to attack, unless they have a bike out, if they do i still try to start off with a root, but set the pets to start attack on there bike to destry there escape..this works well because by the time root dies there bike is toast and there in combat and cann't call a back up bike...i have not had to destroy a bike yet however, due to root always hits. but something else to consider, if your far enough away and you tell pets to attack without you that does not put YOU in combat just the pets and your target. Hope this helps :-)
