Recently, I tamed a Lesser Dewback (CL5)for a client. After testing it, which included climbing up onto its back, I gave it to the client. The client could not ride it. He would choose the right option from the radial menu, but it wouldn't let him mount it. He gave it back to me, and I had no trouble riding it. We tried it again with another Lesser Dewback, with the same results.
Has anyone else experienced this type of issue?

I've had trouble with my Bantha lately. DL10. SImilar problem, he likes to lay down and not get back up, and sometimes he stands there and I'll "mount" him for a second, then I'll fall right off and I'll get the System Message, "You cannot mount anything at the moment."

I find that I can't mount anything (speeder bike, Kaadu or Bol) for about 5 to 10 seconds after its been called, during this time the only option on its radial menu is "Examine". Annoyingly with pets they'll also often lie down during this 10 sec period, which also stops you being able to mount once the mount command is actually available.
The only way I've managed to work round this is to not try doing anything with the pet until about 5 secs after its appeared, and wlk a short distance away from it (5 metres or so) before trying to mount, as this makes most pets stand up and start to follow you.
This has been gonig on since the CU first hit, and happens on both my MCH and non-CH accounts, I'm fairly sure I /bugged it back in the day, but I guess its probably about time to bug it again.

my bantha does that too... just tell him to follow, he'll get up and then you can climb aboard.

Same thing happens to me. With my kaadu too.
It seems like they sit down right after you call them. Telling them to follow makes them get up and then you can mount them.
A good /whap works too.
Silly pets.

Another thing that is probably part of the same problem/bug;
Sometimes, if I'm "too quick" to give the group command after calling the pet, he won't group. The exclamation mark goes up over his head, but he doesn't group. Waiting a few seconds and giving the command again, it works.
