Okay I was looking through swgcreatures. Looking for the creatures that come closest to matching my top skill level and I found like four creatures that I am actually excited about. My current max creature level is 45, and thats probabally the max I will ever have since I am a master bh, and I refuse to give up novice medic. I am a stim addict. Anyway I know some of these are rare, and some of them I have never seen or atleast recall seeing.

Prowling gurrek. I know they are rare, but I have never seen a single one of these, are there any really good areas to look for this creature. I just cannot ignore that 65 percent kinetic resist

Gapeing spider recluse. I am thinking this is on endor, but am not entirely sure. Any help would be grand

Sulfur mynock/riverside sulfer mynock One I like the concept, two they have some really cool resists.

I looked up through the rare pets guide, and I know the prowling gurrek is rare, and that the mynocks are seldom seen, and did not see the gapeing spider recluse up there. So can anyone help me out with this. This is my new goal to get these four critters, and a few of those prowling gurreks if possible.

I see prowling gurrecks all the time between the northern and southern Endor outposts. Babies, too. I don't know about the others because I have never gone after them, but the prowling gurreck is definitely not as ultra-rare as anyone on swgcreatures might be making it seem.

max lvl 45 hmm p-gurrek has no armor but kin is gr8.

but am wondering are you using these for bh missions and pvp or jedi hunting lol if so you may want something with different stats something higher in energy, electric nd such. rancor might even be the way togo for bh missions.

Hi,

The Gaping Spider Recluseis found on Dathomir and the mynocks on Lok.

The best lvl45 pet I've had is the Toxic Merek Battlelord.

Already got a toxic merek battlelord yeah I think its pretty good. I think the prowling gurrek is very nice just for the resist on it. Since eighty percent of the players in the game use kinetic attacks. The mynocks are actually me looking ahead one is 100 percent resist to fire something fun to sick on the commando that will not drop a flamer for his life, and the gapeing spider recluse has a variety of attributes that would fit nicely into my collection

4graul maulers I use these for grinding. Inexpensive to replace with the solo groups at the moment

1level 40 rancor

1 level 40 kimo

1 be kliknik level 36 some funky resists

1 ravenous torton he just looks cool

1 Be level 40 razorcat

1 Belevel 40 woolamander if only his specials would work

1 Giant sand beetle I just always wanted one.

1 Kliknik hunter hardly worth the effort.

1 whispering lantern bird wanted something that would fly

1 level 36 kaddu

1 mountain squill always wanted one.

1 Merek battlelord

Needless to say I think I may get rid of one of my maulers my bird kliknik hunter and giant sand beetle. Thanks for the help on the mynocks I was starting to wonder if they were on talus, but as a bh I was always leary of lok, because its hell on npc marks.

Oh and bye the way bhs that are done with npc missions rarely do them. Time consumeing, and worse yet still a tad buggy. Its easier to make big bucks on just doing mission terminals. In the time it takes you to go hunt down a bounty with travel and all you Could do six five thousand credit missions without all the hassle, and yeah I want the gurrek for pvp. I think it would come as a shock to a melee fighter if I sick him on one. It might actually last awhile if I stick the melee with my sprayshot.

1) The gapping spider recluse are native to dathomire not endor I see a few here and their but have never botherd trying to get a baby since im maxed on creatures.
2) I have and love my prowling gurreck, one of my favorite pets. The best way to get one is to find a spawn of 3 prowling gurrecks and kill them on the 3rd spawn their should be a baby but if their isnt try the 4th spawn. If their is still nothing try a new spawn and youll get one eventually.
3)I dont know much about the mynock i dont spend to much if any of my time on Lok. sorry cant help ya with that one.

I probably shouldn't say this lol

look for a spawn of prowling gurreks there wont be a lair but you'l see like 5 of em sometimes together.

if no baby stay a good distance away mask scent set a camp. then log off.

wait about 30 min. and come back and keep doing this for a couple of hours lol I did this and twice when I logged back in a baby was there. seems that the spawn resets evry so often. maybe it was a coincidence but thats how I got 2 babies in 2 hours lol

even if the commando won't drop his FT he'll still kill the mynock with the DOT... and the disease it has isn't really worring about... but a commando in PvP is pretty much dead anyways lol, lotsa SP used for the prof and almost 0 defences...

the gaping spider recluse is a great pet... nice resists and area poison... look for them due notrh outta the dathmor outpost, where the SMC witches are, or near the NS stronghold... i've seen a few babies in the last couple weeks...

Actually I am thinking way ahead to where commando is less nerfed. But to a time when weapons are slower. Bringing that mynock down on him and forceing him to burn it might be a tad surpriseing to him. I am sure he will get a dot, but might not be so effective an attack.

Thanks guys for all the info.

umm commando really can't get any slower... at master with a 3.2 speed FT it still takes over 10 secs between special attacks (which is the only way you'll get a DOT)... plus rememebr that the unamred line of brawler is a perreq for commando so there are alot of TKM/MCommando out there...

and the commando corr is evil and says more than anyone else about the CR (his evil lil hints)... it looks like we might actully get alot of love for the CR...

get yourself a torter from talus too, 100% stun

Thanks guys for all the help it was a long day, but I was able to get two of the three, and have yet to take a stab at the third. Here is how it went down. I started the day by going to lok, and searching high and low for mynoks. Since the first two missions did not spawn a riverside. I thought perhaps missions do not spawn these, but when I asked a friend he said they did and that I should just keep drawing them till I got what I wanted first mission boom tamed a baby.

Preceeded to go to endor and started moveing on foot from the smuggler to research. Got bored halfway through, and did a p search and to my surprise there was another ch on the planet. So decided to strike up a conversation to me great joy. Yeah she knew where a prowling gurrek was. She was stareing right at four of them, and I was able to backtrack the three thousand meters to try my luck. Needless to say these animals were designed by the dev devil. They snapped my maskscent on multiple occassions, and would instant break off my pets to get on me. After awhile I was picking one off every five minutes. Then the ch who spotted them for me showed back up and gave me a hand. Which was a godsend. Because these jerks would rile up and poor five or six on me at a time. Anyway with two people and two pets we were able to hold them down and kill most of the adults, and in the midst of all of this each of us was able to get a baby.

Though I shot myself in the foot. I forgot to delete my whispering bird which was weak, and accidentally deleted the baby mynock I had tame just a few hours earlier. Well back to lok I go, and this is really where I started pulling out my hair. Draw a mission go out and try to farm the nests for another seems easy enough right. Wrong almost everytime I would approach one of these nests to my horror these dang blue con pirates would pop up. Well that aint too bad, but wait there is more. These guys are running on a mutant tweeked timer put one down and immediately another spawns. When eight of them are chaseing you down. You start to have problems. These happy campers knocked off a number of my pets as I went about trying to get back what I had.

Now I am not the biggest fan of buffs, because I want to make sure my skills are razor sharp, and they are otherwise I would have died alot more, and really crippled up my pets, but next time I am going after a prowling gurrek or a lokian mynok I am going to go get buffed first and save myself some pain.

Thanks for the help guys. I love the two I got so far, and I cannot wait to sick my gurrek on a melee fighter just to see how it measures up.
