I am not clear as to whether grouping my pets will get me higher missions after the patch.I have no combat skills other than CH. I hate to think I'll be stuck do lvl 0 missions after this patch goes live. First it was said they wouldn't, then it was said they would count, but would cost us a cut of the bounty. But what is the final verdict?

Yes, it should. The day or two when it wasn't on Test Center was the result of a bug. That bug now appears to have been corrected.

i was under the impression that grouping with pets would still let you get better missions - but if it was just you and two pets in the group, will your pets cause you toonly get one third of the payout?

I wish they would just be real specific with this.

I gather you can get higher level missions by being grouped with a pet.

What I did not get is whether the creature pet will eat up half of the payout.

To summarize:

(1)Mission difficulty will still be affected by pet level

(2) Pets will not "steal" a share of your reward. That part was a bug and appears to have now been fixed.

The creature should not eat up half the payout. TH said that it is a bug and Vert tested this on TC and said that everything is operating normally now. The only thing that changes is if you group with another player, then you can only get half and they can only get half even if you split up the group. Our pets will still get higher mission difficulty and won't eat up the payout, at least thats what it is supposed to be as far as I know.

So basically, as far as pets go, nothing is really changing? Are faction pets still going to count? I think the biggest complaint about petshas been people grouping a AT-ST to get uber missions still (since they use no skill points to have that), not so much with us lowly CHs.

this could end up working in our favour. if people need pets to get better paying missions then pets will increase in popularity. it takes a group of about 15 - 20 people to get the best paying missions and with the new system these missions will barley pay 2k - yet solo players can get, what? 5 - 6K per mission (damn long time since i done a non-solo group mission!) grouping with a pet could add another 1k onto that figure? the way the new system works grouping will earn you less money.

is it possible that the devs have (unwittingly) thrown us a bone?
