i just overheard a player in-game say that a player can be both master ch and master bh.

1. is this true?

2. if yes, is there anything special needed other than grinding out the skill pts?

THANKS IN ADVANCEfor your enlightened replies.

I keep my head in the sand and being informed is hardly a skill of mine.

The Bounty Hunter skill tree stacking requirements were changed and lessened, so the short answer is yes, you can be both MBH and MCH.

All you need now for Novice Bounty Hunter is Master Marskman and Exploration IV under the Scout Tree. Couple that with the fact that Exploration IV is one of the required stacks for Novice CH, and you've got yourself a very nice PvE combo.

Yeah you can but should you.

MBH is still kind of borked. So much infact jedi missions have been dropped down to invest three. So unless you already got mbh. You might just dabble in it. I hate to say it but mbh aint worth the skill points.

With the overjacked mods even with ch which is also borked. You will have to accept not doing some of the high level dungeons. Melee stacking is now pretty much mandatory.

You may have a point. I'm sorry, my information is secondhand from a MBH/MCH friend of mine who says the combo is effective enough for him.

I'm a Master Rifle/MCH on one server

4-3-3-3 CH & 0-1-1-4 BH on another server

So far, in comparison to the Rifleman/CH template, BH is underpowered. Even LLC IV I'm having trouble hitting targets. Maybe I'm just too used to being a rifleman.

But, I'm going to run the two combos all the way through to the Master level, then do a legitimate side-by-side comparison.

If I don't like it...plenty of other elite combat professions in the game to go with MCH.
