I am primarily an artisan but have been so impressed by the CH's i have seen that i'd like to be able to handle some creatures as well - plus its helpful for clearing critters off my harvs.

I have got the novice CH skill and have tamed a few mighty paralopes (!) as i am based on Dearic, Talus.

Can anyone tell me what skills i would need to be able to tame sludge panthers and kimas? I think i read somewhere panthers are 1/1/0/0 , so if i could tame either of these two creatures without needing alot of skills it would be great =)

thanks!

Sorry, but what you read about GSP's is old news. They patched it & changed the CH xp & CH skill tree. A GSP is now CL25. so you would need 4/2/0/0 or 2/2/1/1 or some variation that equals CL25. Not sure what a kima is but if you look at the CH skill tree & you have basic math skills you can figure this out without asking people.

I dont see how or where i can work out what skills i need for ANY particular creature. I've checked the FAQ but no joy. I can tell how to work out my creature handling level, but nothing in the skill tree or indeed by examining a creature tells me what level i need to be to tame it =(

Yeah, that's a real silly omission in the game. Why not post the CL data on a creature as part of its info.

Best place is probably www.swgcreatures.com. Database is cool and you can do some pretty complex searches.

Oh, my bad, cyke. Forgot that if your not a master scout you can't see pet levels. I've been a master CH so long that I pretty much know the CL on most pets.

yes, check out www.swgcreatuers.com great site & it'll help you out alot.

After I masterone of the elite combat professionsand theRanger profession, I have 18 skill points left. I think ranger would be alot of fun if I would be able to use pets, so I would like to spend those points on Creature Handler. However, once I get novice CH, I only have 12 points left and I am limited to these options: 3 boxes in one of the trees (0 skillpoints left) or 1 box in two trees (2 skillpoints left). What do you recommend?

i recommend not even bothering if you're not going to master. your options will be so extremely limited that you may as well stick to non-ch animals.

I would suggest the first 3 boxes of the first tree, as that way you would be able to tame aggressive and non-aggressive creatures for your max creature level, which would be something around 18 for novice and 3 skill boxes.

Just my thoughts, do with them what you will.

Hey guys

Im a rifleman/bh who is trying to find out what to get in creature handler. Im not sure what boxes are the best so if any1 could tell me what I should use 49 extra points to dabble in creature handler and where to put them. Im hopping that ch will get better in pvp in the cu so any helpful tips would be very much welcome.

Thank you!
