some people create macros with the /tellpet command

/tellpet come

for example. yelling will also work /yell come

so I would set up a macro with at least the /yell f or come whatever you use for a command and hotkey it.

moenia is one of the worste cities for lag, did you ever think to try somewhere else. so if a problem arises you can actually move and act accordingly.

if your afk camping no symathy here lol. half the lag there is caused by people afk lol.

if your atk then its easier to move to another location.

I dunno if there is anything at all that can be done, but it's annoying, to say the least, and makes using pets a liability.

So, as an Imperial employee, I like to go and take out Rebels. I've found a good spot in Moenia that I like to go. So I go there.

I'm Droid Engineer, Creature Handler, and Pistoleer, lowest skills in Pistoleer, so I use my pets for most of my combat, most of the time. So I call out my droid, and my pet, and pull out my pistol, and begin combat.

My pets go to my target, start attacking, and my target gets up and starts running away... well, I have no choice but to stay put, because I lag so badly in cities, there is no way I can chase. And well, my pet won't respond to my "follow me" commands, mainly because he's too far away by this time... aggros whole swarms of troops on me, and I end up dead, or damn near to it. My pet will always end up dead.

How do I keep these mobs from running?!? It's really annoying, my template is set up for my pets to be my main offensive, but in this situation, they are a liability. But maybe someone else has had the same thing, or similar, and knows a strategy for it to keep these mobs in one spot, and I can actually get some Creature Handler experience while I'm hunting.

Well what's happening is that the NPCs are ranged and your pets are melee. So your pets will move to melee range and the NPCs will try to move away to their ideal range so it looks like they're running away. Your only option is to either give them the follow command before they move more than 100m or so away or try with a ranged pet.

No, I don't afk-anything.

I don't even know how to macro stuff beyond quick hotkeys, lol.

I think I might try Tyrena. I dunno if it's a stronghold city or not, but I had created an alt in Tyrena, and it wasa Rebel city...

And well... my main character would have roleplaying purposes to clear out the Rebel influence in Tyrena
