Anyway earier today I was reading a thread where another poster listed something about the CURB. Something I heard back in december. Something I heard was part of the work done last summer. Now I am not going to mention again, because apparantly it got ripped off the clothes line pretty fast, but still why. Is this a confirmation that this in not infact a fact.
I am sorry if the devs think they have fort knox security. Which it is not, but what is the harm of discussing these tidbits in the first place. I am not sandbox nor am I a alpha tester. Not that I am all that against the keeping the forum clean. I mean please the devs already did part of this last summer and actually enacted it so where is the harm in it.

well then the devs can't hold on to the idea that the work they do is crucial to the survival of the human race.
The CURB is classified upmost secret and requires sigma 9 cleareance to get too (the same cleareance needed to get into area 51).
You see if the terrorists ever got their hands on the CURB info they could hack the code. Then actually use SWG to transmitt their messages instead of just useing CNN.

How do I put it without saying exactly what it is??? Well the devs already did part of this particular aspect of the CURB anyway they did is last summer for BHs. They even said it was part of what was at the time the combat revamp. So a real question is why anyone thinks this is a secret period.
Do I think it leads to over expectations. Personally no, and like many a person has said they will beleive it when they see it. Besides ninety percent of this info is diasperated in the game itself. Someone passing along the info. I find it just a tad ironic.

Obviously the devs don't have Ft. Knox security, re: CURB, and they know it. Unfortunately, it seems that bits and pieces of info have been leaked - which would make for an interesting discussion on ethics and one's personal intergrity but another day perhaps 
When this leaked info appears in the forums, it is removed, but it is not necessarily confirmation that the info is, in fact, a fact. The info is removed because it can be- probably will be - misleading if not actually harmful in that it can create unrealistic expectations, unfounded fear/concern, and wild speculation. Which leads me to why I believe it isn't a good idea to discuss those "revealed" bits and pieces of info.

A little heavy handed, but the point being thatit's hard to talk about something without knowing all the factsor the context in which the information was originally presented. You may or may not have guessed I was referring to chemotherapy. Even if you had, you still would have been doing just that - guessing. And so it would be with trying to discuss whatever bits and pieces of information that may have been made public. We would be like the proverbial blind men asked to describean elephant by touch.
