Vert, if you could, please verify with the devs the following two topics in terms of whether they will be included, or whether it can be included if no consideration was given previously.
1) whether or not the character builder terminals such as those that were on tc2 a while back will be made available. this is absolutely essential. it will be extremely important that these be included if we are to be able to test CH with as many professions and templates as we can within any reasonable time frame.
2) whether or not there will be a galaxywide chat channel. when you do the math, there will not be a lot of people on the server(lord knows how the politician group will deal with this, but that's another matter entirely), so the population density will be pretty well dispersed. we'd need a central method of communication so we can contact any related profession representative easily without sitting in a city and hoping one of them plows by.

I can help better here than I can in game.Keep that in mind guys. I want a game that keeps me occupied. Once it works I can quit posting here and go back to playing. Do me proud.
Thanks Pluto.
Juuuuust great.
Tivo is quitting game, and got kicked out of the Sandbox.
Vert, are you going to be picking a new person for his space or something?
If you are, please allow this late submission. I typed it up before, and didn't post it in time. Might as well, seeing as how Tivo is out. Tivo said "Ya, why not" when I mentioned I thought about doing it, so heh, here it is.

Brief description of your experience with Creature Handling to date. I started Creature Handling around eight or nine months ago, shortly after I joined. Rather than jumping into a "grind" to it, I did a strange act called "doing it slowly". It took me five or so months, I think, to finally Master. It was a long road, with levels uncommon but very well celebrated. I take joy in the painstaking work of hunting animals, when its sucessful that is. I for awhile, after mastering, ran the Tempest branch of the Galactic CH Guild , but recently shut it down due to lack of active CHs on server, a thing that made me sad. I am an active member of the Creature Handling forums, and also one of the few active Master Creature Handlers on Tempest. I converse often with other CHs over on Tempest, just talking about stuff and the latest tames. I attend the BEAST meetings on Radiant frequently (recently I've had prior engagements interfering I'm afraid, but any interuption is going to fade soon).
Brief description of the most interesting bug you have ever found in a video game (doesn't have to be SWG). The most interesting one is one that I kinda pride myself in figuring out, the issue of the Geonosian Cave spawns. I at one point of leveling CH was doing the Geo Cave's door Geo spawn, spending hours at it near the end of my Novice CH-dom towards MCH. At this time, I viewed that Geonosians and other spawns in the cave would often diminish as the day went on, and would be back to normal at the server start. Upon more time spent at the spawn, I was witness to the cause of this problems. As oft happens, people are driven running out of the cave from being overwhelmed by enemies too strong for them or by rushing out to not move painstakingly slow through it. These "Runners" as I dubbed them often would drag much stronger things (Enhanced Kwis, for example) to and often out the door (often messing up my camping of the often easier Geonosian spawn, hehe.) Upon leaving the cave, I noticed that many times the creatures would run into the cave, and often "warp" back into their spawn area or run back. However, there was VERY OFTEN (and still are) instances where the NPCs are "Confused". These instances result in creatures wandering off (or if dragged far enough away just holding their ground and standing still 3 kilometers from the cave) and sometimes even "mega warps" (where the creature literally warps 8k away to the edge of the border of the planet). Once killed, the spawn resumes as normal. As an alternative, if one is too weak to fight such things, is kiting them without fighitng towards teh cave (on a bike usually), then driving away fast as can be at the door. This sometimes will cause the creatures to "realize" where they are then and wander back into the cave (I have done this often). The "mega warp" is problematic to lead back, since it is quite a distance and, not to mention, if you have them highlighted it does show for a bit their direction and distance when they warped (had one Geonosian highlighted outside when he "mega warped"), they soon break from the stat-highlight thing from the game's limitor on highlight by distance,
Your favorite SWG pet and why it is your favorite. I like many of my pets, but my favorite has to be my Ravenous Torton "Snapper", mostly because of fond memories of SWG rather than abilities. I remember when I wasn't even a CH, Rori Wooly Hide was the best Wooly Hide on server for a period of neigh WEEKS, causing the guild I was in to have many members go off to get some hide to give to the guild's armorsmith, who was (and though she is in a different guild still is) the best armorsmith on server. I remember people in guild cuonting the number of Tortons they killed, and during the Wooly Hide spawn Tortons were VERY UNCOMMON in the common spawn area around Pygmy Torton cave. We spent weeks driving around the cave, harvesting Tortons, counting the ammount killed (some people were in the upper hundreds by the time it was done). Tortons are also just so cool to see, since of their huge size and just the way they act and not to mention their variety. I wasn't a CH then, but I remember commenting "Someday I'm going to tame a Ravenous Torton", to which a guild mate mentioned that they had a friend try once and that the things fight tames like crabgrass to a mower. This furthered my resolved to tame one, and when I finally was able to, months later, I immediately headed to Rori, and tamed myself one on the second try on the baby, which I named Snapper. I love to call him out when I'm doing stuff, and just have his huge self follow me around. He is also partially the guild mascot, seeing as how, also because of that one harvesting frenzy (new generation members like them for good XP too heh), it is a memory giving creature, not to mention being just plain said very, very cool. I often will just sit in Theed with him out laying next to me, and I answer young CH's questions and teach them/ train their pets. Not to mention answering questions on the mighty breed known as Torton, hehe. ALL HAIL THE TORTON.
It is a pity that Tivo is gone though. He will be sorely missed.
