I'm not sure yet.... the game "might" be enjoyable enough to hold out for a while, though for the first time ever I'm seriously considering quiting.

Haven't played it yet (9 hour download, omg....), but from the sound of it, it would seem like its going to be a combo of Battlefront II and KOTOR, in a constant world. Might work, but it won't really fit into the MMORPG mold any more.

Jaska our CH toon will be gone as of the 16th of Nov. Pax Imperia ( Wanderhome) is having a goodbye party on the 14th starting at 2pm EST.

2 other accounts cancelled and the first too merlyn and Wulfman switched from 3 month to 1 month susb, but I can already tell this ain't gonna be good or pretty.

in the mean time I am trying to Jas up as far as he can in the CH tree before he a dies and the pets are euthanised. all that work... all that care and love...

It was one of the few professions that I found to be wholly satisfying and utterly fun. I could play solo during the day, and being in Europe this meant a quiet server. I wandered, as Jas, all over tatooine and many other places, fully exploring the galaxy avaliable to me. And now in a week or so these will be memories and screen shots. Unlike so many others I did not buy the expansion, we were really really not impressed by it and waiting to see what came next, well I guess that question was answered for us all and it was the biggest slap inthe face I as a paying customer have ever received. Some of my guild mates kinda laughed at the esoteric way I played this game, literally stopping to smell the roses, forage for treats and search lairs for the hidden goodies for my crafter guild mate. To look at the moon rises and to take time out to 'live' for a little while in this virtual world that allowed me to slip into the Star wars universe and find my own unique way.

Now that uniquness has gone.

My pets will be gone.

I will be gone.

Would just like to state that regardless of what happens 3 of my accounts will be canceled. I had 3 different Ch accounts and now there will be no reason to have them

Hello to all my fellow Creature handlers. I just reopened my account only to say farewell to my pets and to all my fellow BEAST MEMBERS, I am very hurt by this and am in complete shock that our beloved profession is being destroyed like a rotten animal. Creature handler has taken the most beating by soe from day 1 and now it comes to an end. I can only hope 1 day we will find another mmorpg that has a similar creature handler class like we had here, if so then you can count me in on being 1. I dont know what else to say, all i can say really is that im heart broken about this, once the 15th comes.... i will never see my pets again. They really do not understand how commited we are to our profession, how attached we can or have gotten to our pets. Even tho its just a game, its just pixel images , it was something to us and thats all that mattered. My email is [email protected] , i hope to keep in touch with all my fellow Masters and anyone else who had the love for this profession. I will be in game from time to time on sunrunner server to sorta pay my last respects b/c my pets were my online family and i will miss them, i will miss playing with them.

I had two accounts. I just opened one last week to help with the creature experience grind. Bad timing there. Cancelled. I was going to try to be fair and at least try out the NGE to see if it was any fun. But the more I learn about the NGE, the sadder I get. I have until mid-December anyway, so I'll give it a few days of tryouts, but I think I already know what I'm going to do.

But before I go, there is no point in wasting your timeon the SOE forums. Why do you think they keep them all opened and let you say more or less whatever your frustration makes you say? It's just a cynical manner to let your energy got wasted without doing any harm to anyone. There is no chance to sue them. They are hardly caring about protests, and never read petitions. So better go out, go to all resellers online and review the game. I am not telling you to tell only how frustrated are you, tell the whole truth, what a great game we have, what we loved about it, what it is happening to it.

Cancelled yesterday. My account is active until march next year so I will be able to see what this CU2 is, but doubt I will be playing much. Without CH there just isn't any point to it any more.

Amusing how they changed the options for why you are leaving. Seems they even would like to controll what you say. I still typed in the real reason in the only spot I could.
