I don't believe I saw this in the 4 pages.

Q: How does CH XP work? I had a Level 29 Crimson Razor Cat out and fighting Rontos. The one cat got 80 CH XP. Thinking that didn't seem right, I stored him and took out a Level 15 pet and a Level 13 pet. Fighting Rontos again, they both gained over 100 XP.

Even though this is a game, it is a type of world where you should go out and discover things for yourself. Part of what makes this game interesting is being able to grow in knowledge of a planet, its creatures etc... Talking to other players and learning helps maintain a sense of community. Why destroy all that by finding shortcuts to discovering things for yourself? If you're not interested in playing along and communicating with others, then why don't you just go a play with yourself?

Well this is an easy one to answer... Because some of us have a life and work for a living and don't have as much time as those who are playing 24/7 stressing our tax dollars.. Don't think its much to ask to have some help from those who use my tax dollars is it??

Answer is even easier than that. We ARE communicating. That is what happens in a forum. (well flame wars happen too ) We just happen to do it here rather than ingame with the horribly antquated email system they have.

Besides that, here we can add posts and email at work, I can't connect to SWG at work. If I could, I dunnow how much work I could get done, so it's probably for the better!

I don't know exactly where to post this, but here it goes. Long before I became a creature handle I bought a level 10 mount, it was a brackaset (is that how you spell that?). Now that I'm a creature handler I need to make some money and I want to get some level 10 mounts to catch and sell. But all the brackasets I see in the wild are around level 30. So how did I have a level 10 ?? Once I get it as a baby do I make a mount out of it once it reaches level 10 or what ?? What's the trick to make level 10 mounts ?? So far the only thing I was able to make a mount out of was a giant carrion spat. And that happened only causeI got a message one day when I went to call it saying that if I wanted to make a mount out of this animal I would have to do so now or it would be to big to make it into a mount. But it ended up a level 12 mount. I would appreciate any help on how to make level ten mounts.

Hehehehe, CH profession sucks, doesn't it?!

It seems the only reason to be one, is because of the love for the profession!

Anyway, from what I've heard, mountable creatures that spawn in the wild, are never max lvl 10, you'd have to get a Bio Engineer make one for you. And they cost a lot of money, so that's probably not an option. No idea what mountable lvl 10 creatures cost on the market. Maybe you should ask another Master CH.

Anyway, I know a friend of mine who's Master CH, gets lots of requests from people to mount their pets and asks them 6K credits for it. Maybe that's an idea!

Q: Is it true that a Master CH can tame a CL 75 viciouscreature when he is wearingBE clothes with +25 to taming vicious creatures ?

Svenon,

You're right, it's not logical. But it is what it is so deal with it. ;D

No. CL 70 is the upper cap no matter what character species or modded items you use. BE clothes can help you control vicious creatures if you don't have enough "Taming Vicious Skillmod" (i.e. helping a young CH handle aggressives who lacks Taming II, or a Master CH who lacks the Wookiee taming bonuses handle extremely vicious creatures like a bull rancor). The Difficulty Level you can control is always limited by your MaxLevel of Petfrom the CH skill tree, however.

Q: As I recall, all of my creatures have their attack speed listed as 2.0. However, when they are attacking normally without using specials, they only seem to attack every 4 seconds. If I have them spam their special attacks over and over, they will attack every 2 seconds, with the same damage potential plus the additional state effects. Why don't my creature pets use their normal attack every 2 seconds, which is their listed attack speed?

Q: I've tried searching for this answer, but what I found was fuzzy at best. When a Creature Handler calls a mount to ride on, does that mount's Creature Level count towards the Max Level of Pets? For example, if a Master Creature Handler has Max Level of Pets 70, could he call two CL35 pets to meet the maximum of 70, and still be able to use an additionalCL10 mount for riding? If the CL of the mount does count towards our limit, why are we penalized for choosing to ride a creature (for which Creature Handlers have an affinity) instead of a vehicle mount, especially when the vehicle mount is the better choice in 95% of all travel circumstances?

Ok I have read the whole topic and I saw a similar question to the one I want to ask... but I didn't saw an answer that satisfys me. the question is:

Q: I am a novice CH I tamed some vir vur babies... I used them in a squill hunt.. all wen well. But a few minutes later when I was standing in fron of a friend's house trying to get my vir vur killing some creatures for exp in the middle of this whole thing I found out that id doesn't respond to my commands. I tried to teach him some new but then I saw that wen I click on it waiting for the training menu to show up it has only examine. I still have it in my data pad but I can't store it from there either. I know that even if you can't control your pet you can always store it by the data pad. I though there was something wrong with the pet so I disbanded it... yesterday a friend gave me a rat and after I tought it some commands the whole situations started again... What should I do... is there something I don't know and I don't do right or my char is buggy

Don't know the answer to your first question Vaelorn, but to answer your 2nd, yes your mount level does count toward your max lvl of creatures you can have out. it sucks, but that's the way it is. As to why, you'll have to ask the devs.

Hope that helps you out a bit.
