I'm telling you this guy was griefing with his pet, He was covering the ticket collector, that's why he blanked out the spatial log.

**Edited, sounded too mean**

Which part of his messege, where he stated that he wasn't covering the ticketeer wasn't clear. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt that they are attempting to be truthful.Seems kinda harsh to come out and call the guy a liar without a shred of proof.

If he was indeed blocking the ticketeer, then I imagine that the CSR could have taken care of that without his input.

He can state anything he wants, and it can be as clear as a clean window, but it don't mean it's the truth. If you read my first three posts you will see that I got just as fired up about this as anyone, and I did give him the benefit of the doubt. But after looking at it more closely, I can cleary see that he was communicating with a bunch of other people right before that CSR, no I'm not looking at it now, and frankly can't be bothered, but judging from his lack of responses to this post, the blanking out of the "other conversations" and my experience in this matter, I believe that he is coming in here and causing a "stir" I believe this person did park his pet on the collector, and refused to move it when askeduntil a CSR showed up. I believe that he was someone told him they had complained, and that by the time the CSR showed up, the pet had been moved off the collector, leaving him with the option to just tell him to store it.

We all got so fired up at the fact that someone would make us store our pets, that we forget that there are azzhats out there that think griefing others is fun. I'm just having a hard time believing that this wasn't one of those situations, I can almost guarantee that what is blocked in that spatial screenie, is people asking him to move his pet, not store it.

It's what I think.

personally...I have a bigger issue with people spamming at the starports than creatures... It has gotten so bad that I have to leave the area....usually go out into the wilderness....and scroll thru my logs to see if I missed anything.

Also...if you have a crappy computer....turn off all the bells ans whistles...too many people with sub-par equipment have their settings way to high and then complain about lag. Decrease the world view distance...decrease the antialiasing...decrease the ground detail....decrease player detail...need I go on...

Whould you rather have a pristine picture that gets 1-5 frames per sec or a pretty good picture that gets 15-25...the choice is yours.

I have a 9800XT and the video defaults(1280X1024 with all the settings up high)the game had was laggy for me in cornet...but after some tweaking and trial and error(1280X1024 tuned off some of the settings...I dontnotice a thing diff about the video quality) I am smooth as Jabba's bottom anywhere I go now...

Not taking sides here, but it is his IM tab. Those could have been tells right then, or they could have been tells from hours before.

Point taken.. Maybe I am being a little too harsh, or skeptical, but I would love to hear of any other people that have been told to store their pets by a SOE employee. Personally I think SOE has very deep pockets, and they would not condone this behavior by a CSR unless it is warranted. The CH community is so ready to jump on the bandwagon of every anti-CH action that we hear about and rightly so. I'm just trying to be careful about the data presented that's all.

Just curious, has anybody else on this forum ever been told to store their pets by a CSR, if so ... what for???
