Thread: Can we get a current list of bugs, Plz
Bug: Tamed pets do not seem to attack wild versions of themselves when ordered. My mantigrue schreecher would not attack other mantigrue screechers at the lair I found. The ! appeared indicating my command having been received but the combat spam showed no attacks by my pet.
Design Flaw: The BE pet conversion should let you know what level the pet will be if you do a level conversion (i.e. convert to the appropriate level) so that you don't get screwed with a level 200 pet. Additionally, as has been noted, this conversion algorithm seems to be flawed.
This has already been mentioned, but I am so mad about it, and it is so important to me, that i'm mentioning it again :
Pets have suddenly become very very very slow.
Why is this important to me? Well, given that CH is nerfed as a combat profession (of any type whatsoever), one of the very few pleasures I had was to be able to drive around with my pets following me. My favourite cats and my peko-peko used to come everywhere with me. This is no longer possible.
Look in your skils boxes
CTRL + S
Click a ch box your working on and look at the amount of xp you have, then try a tame and check the box again, it should have gone up. There is also an experience monitor box to the left, its a small little check box, If you place a check in this you have a skill meter bar on your screen its not detailed but helps you know how close your getting.
I think CH is the most buggy Proffesion.
Here is a newest bug i saw:
Yesterday i was hunting with a few friends, want to make my Master CH (now 4444).
I need 1 million XP for the Master, but 500kwas cap.
There is now way to make Master CH at the moment. ![]()
Well here is my annoying couple of items. Won;t go into the other bugs cause they are all still there. But what really annoys the hell out of me are the following.
Pets can't keep up. Why the hell when i am mounted can;t the rest of my pets catch up, they are slow as all buggery. ITs pointless mounting and keeping other pets out (and i am not talking speeders) my bol mpount outruns all my other pets when mounted, they seem to be stuck on sime really slow speed.
I cant attack at all from my mount, and my mount cant attack at all when mounted.
The rest of the issues bug the hell out of me as well, but i can kinda deal with them to a certain extent. For someone who likes to ride around mounted those 2 are really, really annoying

Yes i've just started out on the CH profession (wow BTW) and im stuck on 20k Xp so cant even get my 1st boxes!!!
but my little lvl5 (13) Shaupaut munchies everything for me
Same here. Im not having any problems really that I notice with pets (Im a new CH and dont really know how they are supposed to behave), but it very disheartening to be on Wednesday of "double xp week" and know I am not going to be able to earn any xp at all for this, the only skill I really care to work on at the moment. Worse than that, no answers in sight as to when this will be fixed. Perhaps its not "game breaking", but I can assure you its definately "breaking" my experience of the game to be sure. Somewhere it was suggested a respec to add a lvl to fix it, but that option isnt available to me at this time, because I dont have any "elite" respec points I can take from anywhere else. Any other "elite" respec points are tied up in dancer, and I refuse to get rid of this even if it WERE an option

Well, of all the items on the list (good list, Vert), by far the two most gamebreaking are the AWOL pet specials and the problem with pets not holding aggro.
For my part, I'm a Master Bounty Hunter with midlevel pets, so the aggro problem is magnified with me. I practically have to disarm to reduce my damage levels to below what my midlevel pets are dishing out.
As for the missing specials, they are indeed missing not only from the pets' attack repertoire, but also from the CH's list of trainable commands. Someone earlier had expressed the fear that these missing features are not an error, but an intentional redesign. I've been trying for weeks (ever since I saw this issue for myself on the Test Center) to find out the story. Is this an error, or an intentional redesign???
I am a CH and a BE. I made a NEW creature after the CU with specials. After I tamed it, the information in the creature examine window shows resists and specials, but I am not even given the option of training it to do the Special1 or Special2 command. It also was crafted with ranged and it seems to be in the same boat. Im a master CH (which is where they put the train command for ranged attack) and I can't train it to do its ranged attack either.
- While on Kashyyyk, while doing the Clone Relic Quests involving killing the Trando Researchers for documents for the geonosian, I ran into an issue where after I sent my craggy bolma pet in to attack something, I could no longer get it to attack anything else and it acted like it was constantly in combat- i.e., there were no options available on the radial menu other than "Examine" and "Follow" on the pet, and selecting "Store" from within the datapad gave no response. The pet would accept follow commands okay, and I was was able to leave the area, but even then, it remained in constant combat mode with nothing. It was only until I hopped on my bike and left it behind and left the area way behind, that I started getting a "you cannot store for xx seconds" messages.
By the time I was back in Kachiro, I could store it.
But it was annoying. I'd tell it to attack something, and it'd just hunch down like it was about to, but never would. It seems to be an issue with pets in general, as well. Pets in combat don't seem to want to switch targets, no matter what you do. Previously I'd noted that if I sent a pet to kill one thing, if halfway through I wanted it to switch targets to pick up a different aggro, it would just ignore me and keep attacking whatever I originally told it to. This includes trying the follow and then attack commands in sequence.
