This would be a cool idea. Just don't limit it to MCH though

bumping this up as thought would be cool to have the final prize being a flying mounted pet.

I like it!!

This would definitely add some play value to the high end of the Creature Handler's game. And with that rancor caged up under the Palace Courtroom, the notion of adding to Jabba's collection of high-end pets fits nicely.

I wonder: Is Malakili's leather hood a +27 Creature Taming bioengineered hood? Might be a nice perk if it had some sort of exceptional taming/training capability.

Simply an awsome idea and one that should have been thought of long, long ago. As for other rewards, perhaps giving you a statue of the creature turned in would be acceptable. This would satisfy the people wanting to redeed thier cool pets for decoration and would provide a way for the CH to show off a little.

A statue?? A STATUE??? ACK!!! (coughs up a hairball) NOOO!!! SACRILEGE! DESECRATION!!! I'd rather have a gas-log fireplace or a clip-on tie than a statue of a pet!

Let's be courageous here. Our tribute to Jabba The Great demands we relinquish the real thing to His Ooziness. But for such lordly gifts, I would expect lordly compensation. I'd suggest the following:

1. A Zoo Module schematic: Each module would hold one pet in a fenced-in outdoor setting that could be created by an architect and customized using flora resources obtained from the creature's home planet. An option for the crafting process might be that the flora might need to be foraged by hand by a ranger for maximum beauty, authenticity and freshness.

2. A Geonosian Creature Prod: These are the long, charge-coupled poles the Geonosians used in the gladiatorial arena in Episode 2 to direct the acklay, nexu, and reek into battle against Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Amidala. They would intensify by 20% the effect of the Enrage Pet command. However, they could enrage the more powerful tamables so much that they turn on their master....

3. Malakili's Leather Hood: An exceptional (and smelly) piece of Creature Tamer's garb, with an exceptional set of taming bonuses: +30 to taming of vicious creatures, +45 to non-aggressive taming, and +5 to the level of tamable creature.

4. Malakili's Gut-Gravy Delight: A very special (and noxious) high-potency concoction that buffs the Health and Action of any carnivore 20% while decreasing the creature's perception of pain through the use of subtle narco-spices for an extra across-the-board increase of 5% in the pet's resistances.Beloved by carnivorous pets across the galaxy: Mind healing from pet tricks also increases by 20% for the duration of the buff. Buff duration is one hour.

5. Malakili's Wild-Oat-And-Milk Surprise: You thought your grandmother's Christmas fruitcake was a load? They're nothing compared to these cakes! Baked with Tatooinian wild oatmeal and wild milk, these high-fiber cakes are just the thing to make your herbivore's day. One cake will buff herHAM 25%and increase her attack damage 20% for 45 minutes. Malakili has been unable to figure out a way to insinuate his narco-spices into these subtly-flavored cakes without offending the sensitive palates of his herbivores, so no resistance increases for these products. Still, feed one of these babies to your pet thune grasland guardian, and he will definitely be feeling his oats!

6. And the grand prize is... A REAL, LIVE KRAYT DRAGON!! That's right, boys and girls, be the first on your block to have your very own pet krayt dragon! Discovered in the wild as a rare runt, this CL-90 uber-beast has been fitted with a special behavior-modification collar and forearm bands of the finest durasteel alloy in the galaxy. These bands are coupled via a special wireless link to a hand-held controller unit (two hands required) that allows you to bend this legendary creature toyour will. Who needs a weapon when Li'l Poodoo is there to do your fighting for you? Be warned: Any attempt to disassemble this controller unit will result in its destruction, because the volatile electronics contained inside oxidize instantly upon exposure to ambient air, so reverse engineering is impossible.

An excellent idea.
Fwe things though (and no i haven't read through several pages of posts )

Where in Jabba's Palace is Malakili though? I am assuming that he is downstairs and not acessable until you have done some of the Jabba Theme park? This could cause issues if you have a rather large negative Jabba standing as you won't even be able to do any of the missions until your bring it up...

Rewards payout, while 5 & 10 million for such rare prizes like the GPS & Bull Rancor or rather nice, i do think that they are are rather high. As said these ARE rare, far too rare, and as such would command a high fee but surely 1 million would be enough? Don't get wrong more cash is good cash but too much cash prangs the market prices (yeah, the market is buggered anyway...) of other items like paintings and nice loot.

Excellent idea though and something i'd love to see in the game

i would gladly do those and like the idea of having unique trophy's and paintings and such as rewards ... (a painting of Oola maybe???) but i agree on the cash reward ... i think it is a litttle to high .. maybe drop a 0 or two off each one of them and that would be ok...

A guess a lot of that depends on your server. I mean, how many of you would gladly pay 10mil for a bull rancor?

P.S. The Devil made me do it! But that doesn't mean it is wrong. (for those of you who don't speak binary)
