Is it true holocrons shatter if you dont use them for a certain length of time?

i mean i have 2 sith holocrons in my inventory that can be used to tell me what professions i master. But if i dont use them for a certain about of time...will they shatter?

I have had a holo for over 2 weeks now (almost 3) and it has not shattered. Since this is almost as long as REAL holo's have been out I seriously doubt holo's shatter after a period of time. Fake holo's (ones harvested from the Jedi NPC quest) are the ones that are now shards.

I don't think there is a definitive answer on how many you need, it has varied from player to player. I just found my first and it took a while, I want to finish what it told me to do (Master Pikeman) first before I go through the headache of finding more.

you don't NEED any holo's all holo's do is tell you what you should master in order to get fs, you can get that by pure luck say if you mastrer artisian and in another instance u asked to holo it might say for you to master aritisan, so you CAN get fs just by mastering stuff and being very very very very very very lucky.

how many holocrons do you need to start working towards the FS? or do you just need one that tells you all the skills that need to be mastered? i have heard compliance from both sides. i'm confused, please help

i am sure it is in a post somewhere in here but i can't seem to find it.

I opened my Sith Holocron and it told me to Master Pikeman. Should I open my other 2 Jedi Holo's or wait till I Master Pikeman. Please I would like to know, I have no idea what I should do. Looked around but could not find any answers. Thanks again for all your help.

do not use your other holos. They will tell you pikeman as well!

Master pikeman first, then use your second one.

After you master that one, use your third one.

u hafta wait to open them or they will both say the exact same thing

If I use a friends Holocron what will happen> Will I get his professions or will I get new sets for my char?

Using a holo is similar to using spice, food, meds.

Its a consumable.
If you use it it tells you what YOU need to learn not the person who looted it.
If you use it it vanishes from inventory. There is no reuse. 1 hit per holo.

If you use your friends. Dont expect to give it back.
