The first creature I ever tamed was a humbaba on Talus. I went around taming a LOTof little critters that night: an ikopi, a guf drolg, and then a greater sludge panther.
His name is Butch, and he's still on my datapad.

MY first pet was SLK... which my friend who gave him to me said it stood for Stupid Lurking Kaadu... SLK and I went through hell together. I had him for 3 or 4 months, used him no stop he was out with me EVERYwhere I went and fought everything I did....I don't even think I knew about vitality.. he must have had like 40 lol. I gave him back to my friend who gave him to me when I went CH and ran out of room he disapeared soon after.(my first CH pet was a BE gurreck level 19 named spitfire that I also lent to a friend to hold and he disapeared as well.)
In memory of my old pal SLK I named my yacht SLK... It is hard to talk about.. cause in all this Time I had sooooo many pets i grew very attached to and let go... I can go on forever.. and i pretty much tamed everything in game pre-cu before my hard core rare hunting.. which sadly is now over and I have no room for the new tamable (bad idea devs) CH keeps taking harsh turns that result in a gut shot to some of us.

I am so glad I started this post.
It's like reading a server history book.
Come on DEV's...look at all the loyal players here that are CH and care enough about computer game pets that they post their memories of the days of old!
