Thread: Vertexon's Guide to Creature Handling (v. 1.0)
This guide is great!!
Now, one other question...
Is there a shortcut command for calling a creature from the datapad without hitting 'control-d' and using the radial menu?

Not currently. The only logical way that seems would do this, i.e. dragging the icon to the toolbar, just examines the creature instead of calling them. Oh well...
BTW, nice necro-post ![]()
Now we just need v 1.1
You must be able to train four commands to name a pet.
The way you name it is to put the name before the command when you train it, such as:
Spot store
Spot attack
Spot follow me
Spot trick one
Or whatever the command is.
The guide predates mounts; Vertexon is going to need to uptdate it.
You can find a lot of information in the stickied FAQs in the CH forum.
Awesome Thread!
I myself am I novice CH and Novice Bio-Engineer. To answer some of the posts, Bio-Engineers can produce animals that are far larger and stronger than their normal counterparts. My ultimate goal is to Master both of them and be able to produce my own pets. Rancors, Tortons and Krayts can be bio-engineered and taught camouflage, they are also MUCH larger. If you plan on making a living selling pets, than the BE is the way to go. There are very few because it is very long and hard to attain. You have to have the scouting skills and medical skills to do it.
